This could provide a huge reduced cost funding opportunity for the Monitoring Division to further develop its COVID platform beyond the intitial sewage project, with an even bigger opportunity to cross sell the Microtox range of products into other funded projects as an EPA standard system.

According to GB, "One of our ecowaterOS partners based in the US has" (already applied for funding). I happily stand to be corrected but the Monitoring Division of Modern Water is the ONLY part of the Ecowater Consortium based in the US.

Fair question you ask, in reality it's always about fitting the right product to the right demand. Is there a current, definite demand for an 'instant' early warning system (remember this testing system highlights the virus' presence before people are symptomatic or infectious) in the public sewage system? No, not at the moment.
But MWG aren't pitching the product there, they're going for the Cruise industry instead where the demand is and there's a budget to match. That's no marketing gimmick, it's a real and available opportunity.

Thanks for the update GB, and yes the tidy up of all those subsidiaries was long overdue. Companies like Stoneybrook were still on the books long past their activity.

On 13th May on the advfn board you said:

The timing of the notification for delay, being on the last available day to publish would surely suggest that MWG were within touching distance of publishing, but 16 days later they're still not out.
Even if they are not ready yet a little more communication is surely needed, even if it's a trading update with a current bank balance?

Hi Chrysalis, the collaboration isn't just for the labwork as in between MWG and SKIN. There is going to be demand for thousands (hopefully) of devices (with different size & shapes for different placements) and these need to be manufactured. Neither company has the time or money to set up its own factory and the current outsource manufacturer for MWG would need to step up a large gear to cope. This is the last link missing in order to get the devices to market as soon as the aptamers (and other possible methods) are proven with the live virus.
Weather geek, the 60/40 agreement is purely for the manufacture of reagents, nothing else.

Chrysalis have a look at GBs most recent tweets about OEM collaboration partners. No new cash needed if someone else has the factory, you don't have to build one.
Adds another angle to the profit distribution, but if they can meet the demand, blue sky it is for all concerned.
