So T.Rat you supporting someone who entirely posts negative about dvrg now? LOL
Oh dear rocket, it was me that called them out, just like saying T.Rat was a weird sycophant.
Do people only understand things if they're in binary these days?
My lord, careful T.Rat, that must of been hard. Take a moment and sit down old chap.
As for Gwoods, why don't you do as you tell others and trawl through his posts, there's only 200 odd instead of 1500+ ;-)
T.Rat, simple question... are things on track or not???
The reality here is that the big change came with the Cork facility (still actually flagged as the Euro assembly centre rather than global).
Today's addition of Glanaco is just another step from that and is logical too as the demand guidance from potential buyers seems to be guiding towards a van based iteration of the current 'Phd student down a manhole' scenario.
Totally agreed I too thought that they'd try and swallow MSYS and I still think they will.
For now it's all on the trial results/potential orders from and with GB buying today there's nothing in the pipeline from that or anything else in the short term.
It's good that they've managed to put this together for sure and I can't think of a better solution considering the circumstances.
As you say, interesting times and time will tell.
The irony was Stu that DVRG was supposed to outsource everything and take a margin from a bigger prize without having to finance the production themselves.
It's a complete 180 spin from the original plan. Obviously it needs to be done so they're doing it. How it will turn out, who knows..
No T.Rat I did not skip past anything, I just don't see in binary like you.
Iteration 3 is the final PD product as the slide shows starting manufacture at 100+ from February not April.
200 units a month doesn't simply start from nowhere in April (or now end of Q2.....)
The 'mass manufacture' was scheduled to be ramped up from February and it simply hasn't happened. Admit it can you?
If it had of, we would not have Q1 production orders of only £5m would we! There would have been at least 200 PDs factored in to those orders and they're not there, simples, mass slippage.
Instead we get GB celebrating putting 5, yes 5! PDs into vans instead of 200.
And yet still you can't raise a critical eyebrow.
Ho hum
Page 9, iteration 3, February 2022, more rose tinted binary again T.Rat :-(
Bringing information to the table should never be viewed as party pooping thanks Altus.
Unfortunately we seem to live in a digital binary world where people think that anything that threatens their rose tinted view is to be attacked rather than cogitated :-(
Davde, I'd less call it canny, more necessary in the circumstances.
Not sure how long you've been following the fun here for but 'in house manufacturing' was never in the plan originally, it was all about subbing everything, being able to scale quickly by bringing others in and being happy taking a margin of a bigger prize.
Now the situation has changed, predominantly IMHO because the CR JV has not happened, hence the change in direction.
The fact that the Management has been able to facilitate this change is positive, necessary and good for DVRG but IF successful it certainly undermines the longer term multi-bag appeal of this share.
That said I'm happy to hold what I have left for now.
More insults T.Rat, sadly typical of Mr Touchy :-(
As I say, calling someone an idiot for not trawling through your 1500 plus posts of sycophantic ramblings to actually prove the fact that 97% of your ramblings is nothing short of weird.
"I can see why DVRG is not for you" - shows your complete inability to grasp nuance, everything to you is rose-tinted binary.
Director buy is small beer in reality because as we've already seen, we can expect the Directors to be paid in cash from now on, very different to the original proposition.
The Director buy also indicates no imminent news.
Mixed blessings like everything.
Davde the whole "on track for 200 a month by end of Q2" is typical GB and why he has so many detractors.
If you check the AGM presentation (July 21?) they were scheduled to start producing in February. So it definitely isn't "on track".
That said, with the trial ongoing, there's no proven order book yet so it's all subjective but is another slippage which Bod has highlighted. There have been lots of other slips too, all glossed over, which is actually normal for pretty much any company.
Nice one T.Rat calling someone an idiot for not wading through 1500 posts 97% of which we now know are sycophantic DVRG. Weird.
There are so many positives and negatives intertwined in this deal/financing, the variables make clarity impossible.
My first thought is that this is totally against GB's philosophy of contracting as much out as possible by buying Glanaco. That said it's a minor cog in the wheel compared to the 200 PDs assembly facility which is already months behind in delivery so it's definitely not on track.
The financing will allow for the the underpinning of the expansion of all sides but with the dilution that will follow that really limits the idea of a multi-bagger.
Everything still depends on the final outcome of the trial/orders/contracts that would follow. DVRG is clearly being guided towards the mobile testing which is a great sign and makes total sense on a practical level. Shareholder wise it means less machines sold, but hey the market isn't just for the UK
Davde
I've never said that T.Rats posts weren't informative.
What I've questioned is the unending sycophantic manner of the posting (the polar opposite to Gwoods and Muggins who are known haters) and that over 97% (thanks Chesh) of his posts are DVRG. It's weird.
More insults T.Rat :-(
I bet you're still posting weird sycophantisms this morning saying how utterly wonderful this funding package is .......
Err rocket Gwoods admitted it, several times
I guess he's just touchy Chesh ;-)
The other 2, (well 3, the other septic before Gwoods too) Gwoods was easy but muggins would probably get more respect by coming clean.
I still stand by my original comment that T's posting history is "weird" ;-)
No worries Chesh, shame he didn't step up and say something himself instead of throwing insults;-)
