I expect you will get your chance to buy cheaper when the placing details are known. Mining and metal exploration shares are all the rage today. Especially if they were recently recommended by a prestigious tipster. The zeitgeist reminds me a little bit of technology stocks in the late 1990s.

The company advised that FY 2026 earnings are expected to be in line with expectations. Forecast P/E is very low hence the share price is much more likely rise significantly than fall significantly from here. The market cap is tiny so I expect that it will only take a small catalyst to rerate. It could be argued that this has better growth potential and less overall risk to a private investor than investing in Lloyds Banking Group plc. One of the risks to current small shareholders is that major shareholders agree to take it private.

When I invested in this company I expected an above market return based on excellent management, precious metal commodity price appreciation, production being proven, encouraging gold exploration results, and mineral rights over a vast relatively unexplored territory. The discovery of rare earth elements was a bonus that I expected to slowly reap rewards. The fact that Greenland was a technically challenging territory was balanced against the fact that it not risked by unstable government interference.

Thank you for clarifying. I thought the discussion concerned the costs associated with drilling rig contractors being on site for longer than planned. Muscles like Popeye and being able to withstand cold and wet weather are a minimum job requirement in this industry. The ‘housing’ protecting the is likely to be a well ventilated barn type of arrangement. It protects vulnerable plant against the worst of the weather. It not designed to keep operators and construction crew warm and dry.

It is prohibitively expensive and extremely hazardous to operate a drilling rig in an enclosed ‘shed’. I hope they are not doing that.

I reviewed your previous Eco Buildings posts and thought they were very informative (and occasionally hilarious). I will not be selling just because the share price is drifting lower on no significant news. I must confess to initially being a bit nervous about the remoteness of the Albanian factory but my confidence has grown as a consequence of reading some of the available information. Thank you.

I hope we don’t get stuck at the 3p level until the next news cycle because I am fully invested here and cannot commit additional funds without taking an unacceptable risk. I never know when I may need to liquidate if my circumstances change. I am aware that a fundraising is unlikely in the near future but regardless, the current £15 million market cap suggests that although good for raising capital, the London market cannot effectively value companies like EST on an ongoing basis. It adds weight to the imminent decision whether to list on the ASX or not. If they choose to accept the additional costs associated with a dual listing then this shareholder would support it.

Agreed. I would expect the water content to be well below the dew point at minimum ambient temperature. I know from personal experience that successfully commissioning complex process plant and systems can be extremely frustrating . Especially when critical equipment is not spared. Things can (and invariably do) go wrong no matter how competent the engineering team. It takes calm heads and patience.

I think this is now trading at a lower price than before the company issued an RNS to warn that their profit is expected to be significantly or substantially greater than the market was expecting. Not sure what has changed unless Trumps action in Nigeria has perturbed some holders. Best wishes to everyone.

Interesting that Blue Star are permitted to vent the CO2 associated with He production prior to installation of the CO2 liquefaction plant (phase 2). The presence of CO2 and water adds to equipment and pipeline costs because expensive alloys are required to prevent corrosion. Hopefully Helix doesn’t have that issue because as far as I am aware, our wells don’t contain acid gas contaminants.

Unable to purchase any amount ( large or small) using the II platform. I even attempted a limit order at the bid price yesterday which failed to execute. Perhaps the II broker took an early Christmas break? My advice is not to read too much into the fall to a 194p bid price because it is unavailable to folk happy to buy at that price. I hope this company will increase in value by at least 10% by the end of January when the exceptional profits are visible.

Many metal alloys become brittle if the partial pressure of hydrogen is above a threshold (eg stainless steel). I expect that they considered this when they specified the compressor, PSA, and pipe gathering system. Many Engineers with only an oil and gas background never need to consider hydrogen service. I have seen some very late design changes as a consequence. Probably not an issue given the impressive technical background of the team but of interest nonetheless. The old towns gas pipes were constructed from cast iron for that reason.

I believe II have sorted the transfer admin and that all their clients now own US stock. Which should be more liquid but will incur some additional fees for currency conversion etc.

I received a response this morning from II confirming when we will be able to trade DEC on their platform.

To be fair, they advised me that they are not responsible for the hiatus and they did confirm that XD is today, and we will receive it.

Hi. Have any interactive Investor clients received an update with respect to when they will be able to trade DEC shares on their system either on the LSE, NYSE, or Bury market)? I have been locked out for 5 days now. I’ve emailed them 3 times and have received no reply. Thanks.

To be fair, Interactive Investor provided an excellent service to me before now.

Apologies if this thread is a bit boring for those who are not impacted but as of Wednesday 26th November the status for this Interactive Investor customer remains unchanged I.e. in limbo with his DEC holding and unable to trade. A situation that is bit frustrating because I planned to sell a part of my holding at £12 and add to my EST holding. I am passively watching DEC go down and EST go up whilst cognisant that XD is on Monday.

There is something odd occurring with the interactive investor trading platform. It is indicating that the value of my Greggs share holding has increased by over 1% this morning. Unbelievable.

It seems to the situation with most retail UK brokers. Unable to trade at 10:30 am on 25th November using interactive investor SIPP trading platform. No explanation or guidance has been received from them via their internal messaging system. I guess we must wait patiently while watching others trade and hope it doesn’t move too far in the direction that we don’t want it to.
