Fastnet's future . . .18 Aug 2015 14:51
as a 'going concern', surely lies in shareholders supporting and endorsing the BOD, as they move forward with their proposal to transform the Cos via either a 'reverse take-over' or preferably, imo, via two or, possibly three strategic investments into existing biopharma Cos with an existing and identifiable pipeline of oncology drugs/compounds close to or at 'key-inflexion' stage (of which, there are several currently evident e.g. Valirx, Sareum, Rene, Oxp).
re Fastnet's Oil & Gas interests:
In additon to the above (and were I a member of the Fastnet BOD), I would strongly recommend to my fellow BOD Members that Fastnet (i.e.The Company), look to extract maximum future shareholder value in respect of its Celtic Sea 3D Seismic data (of which, $18 million of shareholders funds has been 'ploughed-in' to its acquisition). In so doing, I would seek to 'leverage' Fastnet's very strong position via the negotiation of a % 'farm-in' to any future single or, multi-well drilling program on behalf of Fastnet's shareholders using the 3D Seismic Data as the 'bargaining chip' to facilitate this with whichever Cos subsequently acquires Fastnet's soon to be relinquished licences and in so doing we, as the shareholders in Fastnet, may yet benefit and enjoy some subsequent return on our investment which, despite all the previous rhetoric and high expectations has, to date, come to nought! In addition, if the BOD elect to follow this suggestion, then the value of said 3D assets can both be maintained and continue to be reflected in Fastnet's accounts/market cap.
