two very assuring tips from this conference:
1) SC is willing to take the whole lot, that is 100% output.
2) SC is willing to help with moving to production and we are moving forward with those discussions.
It appears that BA is using this crowd only as a second option for financing the plant, or keep the pressure on SC to come with a good price. It is deal done. The negotiations are about how much.

Kod will have its off take agreement upgraded to 100% soon, Europeans are not interested in competing with china to produce batteries, they are happy to buy them from china. Chinese labor is still a fraction of that of the European Union. I can't see SC allowing any major competitor to buy 70% stake in kod by financing the plant.

BiB, here is what you are missing:
1) BA is not looking for the market for financing the plant, he is relying on SC. so the published figures is just an indication of resource not an accurate estimate by any means. It is publisher just to comply with the rules.
2) in mining, if the geology of the mining area is consistent in certain area, you don't need to dig the whole area to prove the resources, it will be enough to have a cross section for say 600 meter by 200 meter as they done in Bougouni and extend to the whole area of the same structure.
we don't know the geological structure, so we don't have a clue of the real resources but they have a clear idea about the geological structure so they can infer the resources from the cross section data they have.
BA is talking about 2 m plant because that is the same as the one in china, I guess they are going to get a similar one from the same producer to be built in Mali by Chinese.

I think BA said: 2 million DMS plant with possible flotation. He believes coarse minerals at Bougouni has long extendable life beyond the 5 m tons proved so far. When we reach the fine minerals we need to upgrade to flotation. upgrading the plant to 2 m is an answer to the drop in lithium prices, as larger plants are more efficient. The plant cost will not be that high as flotation is not going to be included in the first stage.

good question CRK22, subsidiaries make it easy to sell one of them if needed to SC, as they are not interested in gold. or may be the other way around, sell gold and leave lithium. In this way kod will stay in business in the likely event of selling lithium to SC.

It does not make any sense to raise funds again for lithium project before publishing any news about Eisa, samples and FS. Not a single investor will be listening to him. Any way BA did not choose the timing so he is just a guest.
Unless we get news about these three events before 28 Nov, kod pitch about lithium project will be unwelcome. May be he is introducing gold projects in one way or the other.

by now BA and SC should have good idea about sample outcome, Eisa, and FS. I guess the next news will contain all of these including may be a decision made by SC to move forward.
any good news is likely to see the sp re-rate considerably. the reason for this is there is no enough volume sold at this low level to hold the sp down. all **************d in the last weeks could go in one hour. we could have a small brake at 0.08 then up again.
BA was against sp moving up and down when his major shareholders then jumped ship, but at this time he would see considerable re-rate as we are at a turning point to change this to lithium producer.
