daza, since brine lithium producers do not produce spod. their process produce low grade carbonate.
spod is only produced from rock lithium.
listen after min 4.4 what ion battery man says.
rock lithium is produced as SC6.0, then relatively easy to transform to either carbonate or hydroxide.
brine lithium is low in grade and it is carbonate, it has to be upgraded to be transformed as hydroxide.

there are two factors effecting the price:
1) since spod is easier to convert to hydroxide than carbonate. rock lithium wins.
2) since unwanted contamination such as metals are more likely to be present it open lakes exposed to all kind of contamination from air and ground, rock lithium is protected in hard rock for millions of years. rock lithium will win this as well.
in short prices are paid for purity and ease of process. so kod spod is likely to be higher than the published prices.
daz can you check is kod lab results showed any of the contamination 'metals'.

Daza, lithium is lithium everywhere, but it appears that concentrate from brine is lower grade than that obtined from rock due to impurities hard to izolatd. Since brine account for 85% production, you expect rock co entrate to be more expencive.
