In between peeling the sprouts tried to pin down the 80000 metric tonne load conversion and can see why there is such a discrepancy converting 80000 metric tonnes into barrels. Came across the formula below:
"barrel (bbl) 1. Unit of volume for crude oil and petroleum products. One barrel equals 42 US gallons or 35 UK (imperial) gallons, or approximately 159 (158.897 exact) litres or 9,702 cubic inches (5.6 cubic feet); 6.29 barrels equal one cubic meter and (on average) 7.33 barrels weigh one metric ton (1000 kilograms)".

Now if you use the 158.897 litres per barrel figure you get 503186 barrels (1000/158.897*80000) whilst using 7.33 barrels weight you get 586400 barrels (7.33*80000), what isn't in doubt is the load is over 500000 barrels and with brent crude heading over $67 per barrel happy days and a happy Christmas present for all holders come the financials in Mar 20.

Might want to check out the Finabir share price fall and buying opportunity. The company has suffered merely because it is run by the NMC CEO and hence "must be" guilty of something through association. As the Muddy Waters accusations gradually unravel so the sillier the recent Finabir sell off will lookl totally different business.

1900 not a bad estimate. Using Burfords rebuttal RNS (with a much more opaque balance sheet than NMC I would add) on 08/08/19 as a guide, their share price recovered 25% in one day (closed 605 on 07/08/19 and closed 760 on 08/08/19), so as a minimum I expect the same for NMC

Well it's the Christmas season so let's wish all shareholders in both UKOG and Hurricane a happy and prosperous New Year. From a Hurricane prospective, as the saying goes "Sticks and Stones..." and from where I am looking, there appears to be more carrots than sticks to worry about. We have generated $69M extra free cash flow in 6 mths at an average 13300 bopd. So next year at the forecast av 20000 bopd we can look fwd to annual free cash flow of $184M being added to the current pile of $150M giving a total of $334M. Now this gives a Price to Free Cash Flow figure less than 2! So I think we can afford to be magnanimous even to the detractors because whilst sp performance is temporary, class is permanent. The irony is, Tom Winniforth, the self appointed sheriff of the Aim, is always keen to point out that Free cash flow is paramount as it enables the company to pay its bills, and Hurricane Energy is now generating free cash flow in abundance so just a question of waiting for the results in March 2020 I guess
