if you have been too lazy to properly research OO before investing then you deserve to feel nervous, however, if you have properly researched the company then short term share price noise will not bother you and may even provide further opportunity to add to your holdings. As always DYOR

Having had time to properly digest today's news, I believe following the resignation/removal of Dr T we will see the removal of "exploration" from the strategy statement which currently reads "Hurricane's strategy is to create shareholder value through monetising the significant reserves and resources associated with the naturally fractured basement reservoirs within its portfolio through exploration, appraisal and development.". To state the obvious, before any sell-off of the company or assets can take place, the EPS will need to be proven; a successful EPS conclusion from hereon in will at the very least lead to a divestment of "Halifax" I suspect. Here's hoping for all new and current mid/longterm holders the 6 well produces at a steadily increasing rate, if it does I will buy back in, meantime I'll restrict my gambling to lower stakes on the poker table and horse racing. I judge from your posting history that you are a day trader rather than investor and hence the superficial one liners to try and drive up the share price before making your quick buck and disappearing.

I know buyers are needed Dive but it is ii rather than pi money that is needed to make a sustainable sp difference and I h ate to see pi 's burnt on hype. My point about waiting for the next production RnS is based on this extract from the Apr update which identified for the first time a perched water zone for the 6 well. "Having not observed water during initial drill stem testing of the two Lancaster EPS production wells, significant water production had not been expected during the EPS phase. Water production has been steadily increasing since production started, with an aggregate water cut of approximately 26% during the month of April (1st - 21st) whilst producing an average of 18,500 bopd (net of downtime).



After retrospectively analysing the drilling and petrophysical data with the benefit of the EPS data the following conclusions have been drawn:

· a 10m high permeability water bearing zone has been identified within an interpreted 40m producing interval in the 205/21a-7Z well;

· a 10m water zone has also been identified in the 205/21a-6 well, however this water zone is more distant from the interval currently producing;

· produced water from the 205/21a-6 well is therefore interpreted as being drawn from the perched water zone intersected by the 205/21a-7Z well; and

· current individual well water cuts of approximately 46% in 205/21a-7Z and 7% in 205/21a-6 during April are consistent with this revised interpretation, noting that the 205/21a-7Z figures were impacted by high water cuts immediately after a shut-in at the start of the month."

That said I expect the demand to be there from companies to take up that demand.

Captain, that sounds an eminently sensible suggestion as it would nail once and for all the perched v aquifer debate that helped decimate this sp whilst both wells were performing, and whilst oil prices are low, would minimise the impact of using an inferior producer
