Captain, you are correct in so much as there will be a market for oil for some years to come, but it is a diminishing market and the price is only being held at today's modest levels whilst the OPEC+ agreement holds good. I enjoyed the thrill of the exploratory days here even though I paid for that excitement big time as production disappointed. I have been out at a huge loss at circa 12p and have not been tempted back in. That said, my appetite for exploratory companies and the potential riches has not diminished, but I have switched to precious metals where the sp is soaring in the current climate. One company, Powere Metal Resources, has just started drilling on one of several projects across different countries, looking to confirm the size of a Nickel Sulphide deposit in Botswana. What I like about the company, is that the CEO has invested heavily himself, and regularly updates the market on progress, including a gallery of pictures and short videos in near time. Exciting times but I have kept my investment small. I guess the point I'm making is that if people are looking for black and white shares, why would you choose a product near the end of its life cycle rather than one enjoying a renaissance ?
