Wolf, besides the possibility to increase the size of the facility, the price charged per Covid test will be at a much higher premium than non-covid testing significantly increasing a revenue stream that prior to OO taking over was only 45% full on avr=erage, that is what you are missing

All over the internet now, the significance here is that it will accelerate the proving of all the major vaccines through deliberately infecting volunteers with coronavirus in a controlled environment , hence proving whether the vaccine works within a month of running the study. Should be a huge boost to the whole travel industry

One crucial aspect of challenge trials is to select and purify an appropriate strain of the virus that is genetically representative of Sars-Cov-2 currently circulating in the population, and choose doses that will infect volunteers without overloading their immune system.

It is also essential to have a “rescue remedy” on hand to prevent serious illness in participants. The London trial will initially use remdesivir, the only antiviral drug so far proven to work against Covid-19.

Volunteers who take part in hVivo’s influenza challenge studies receive up to £3,750 compensation. The payment for Covid-19 trials is likely to be somewhat higher because the isolation will last longer — potentially as long as a month.

The hVivo facility could be divided into three zones of eight beds each, to test three different vaccines at the same time. There is likely to be intense demand for its services and larger facilities may be opened later.

Must agree with Jacktrade. I invested here because I watched one of Paul's live presentations by accident rather than design as it preceded an Open Orphan presentation the same night. I subsequently researched the company, like what I saw and have increased my holdings with each subsequent update, but not to a point where I have unbalanced my portfolio. To me, the risk/opportunity here in a climate where mining techniques have improved at the same time as the price of precious metals has increased, hence making previous uneconomic mines profitable to exploit, makes this a compelling investment.

I would rather be invested in a precious metals exploration company where the CEO wears rose coloured spectacles but has the confidence to back his confidence with a huge chunk of his own money than a company producing oil in the current climate

A hydrogen-fuelled future energises Johnson

This is where hydrogen comes in. .... government want to replace natural gas with hydrogen so that .. there’s no carbon used in home heating. The idea is that hydrogen would be pumped through the existing natural gas network (as long as old iron pipes had been replaced by plastic ones) and into our homes.

The other use for hydrogen is as a fuel for long-distance transport. There is a view that you simply won’t be able to get an electric heavy goods vehicle which can make long journeys as it would require too much battery power. But hydrogen could work well for lorries, trains and even ships.

Indeed, there are already hydrogen-powered buses on the streets of London. They are Johnson’s version of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, two of his favourite things put together.

One of the attractions of hydrogen buses is that they don’t need recharging all the time, they can do about the same distance as a conventional bus, and can be refuelled quickly.

Pity Ceres haven't got PEM Fuel cells which is what you need for a pure hydrogen fuel stack; Ceres fuel cells are proposed to be used as extenders for a battery/hydrogen hybrid bus in China

Must admit that I can't see a case for anyone investing as opposed see to trading in oil in the current climate. For those people who like to invest in exploration companies, doesn't it make more sense to turn your attention to previous metal exploration now that prices of gold , silver etc have rocketed, making it economic to revisit known sites previously closed when it was no longer economic to mine at much lower prices?

The change came at short notice and we’re now in the process of finding a replacement data source. The time frame for this replacement will depend on a number of factors, such as finding an appropriate replacement data provider, following the relevant procurement processes, and ensuring that our website is set up to receive the data and display it correctly.
Recent Trades data is available on the London Stock Exchange website in the meantime.
There is also an ongoing but intermittent issue where the live prices for some shares outside of the FTSE 350 are not updating. In most cases when this does happen we can fix it, but it is a temporary fix. The issue has been recognised and a solution is currently going through testing.
I hope you can understand that I am not currently in a position to offer a timeframe on this, but this is being investigated as a matter of high priority.
