RE: Skinbiotix11 Jan 2022 07:56
Curious so many posts about axisbiotix under the skinbiotix thread. But as the discussion has moved once again to the success or otherwise of the axisbiotix soft launch, it might be better to focus on the facts published in RNS's rather than speculation in newsletters etc.
The one fact that catches my eye appeared in the 30th Sept Launch RNS "hrough its subsidiary AxisBiotix Limited ("AxisBiotix"), SkinBioTherapeutics has begun receiving and storing finished product at its distribution centre in the Netherlands. The warehouse is 10,000sq metres and is located in Boxtel near Eindhoven which has been carefully chosen for its proximity to the Company's formulation partner, Winclove and its distribution links to the US, UK and Europe. Readying of finished product is ahead of schedule for launch."
Now 10,000 sqm = 107,639 sqft and I came across this site which aids companies to calculate what that means in terms of actual storage capacity for their products and interestingly they use as an example calculations based on a 100,000 sq ft warehouse. Now, I don't suffer from psoriasis so haven't seen the actual box sizes but assume they are less than 1 cubic foot in which case, the warehouse rented by skinbiotherapeutics should be capable of storing 350,000 boxes. So I suggest people stop focusing on the actual numbers at soft launch and instead listen to Stuart when he says he is delighted with progress and has no concerns to report to the market and exactly what that potentially means in terms of future anticipated revenues based on the size of the warehouse rented.
"So, let’s take the middle of that range — 490,000 — and say that’s the storage cube size to aim for to achieve the optimal warehouse storage efficiency. This number, of course, will vary for every warehouse. But for the sake of this example, let’s say this particular warehouse has a 490,000 storage cube size. Warehouse managers and designers can then lay out the facility with optimization and efficiency in mind, and you can calculate how much of that storage cube size you are actually utilizing. If you are storing 350,000 of product, you would be using 71.42% of the optimal storage space that is available."
