The trial results for cholbiome look pretty spectacular to me and certainly appear to be on a par with statins, more importantly I guess is that as Probiotix Health, who are now responsible for this product, a B2B business and the major clients are convinced of the efficacy of the trial

So as Opti is now solely responsible for prebiotics and second generation products, back on topic, let's focus on concerns regarding slimbiome, wellbiome, leanbiome, and Sweetbiotix.
Slimbiome appears to be progressing steadily and as a user of the Porridge produced by H&B can confirm it works for me ; just replacing the breakfast meal has enabled me to lose and hold off the weight whilst eating normal meals at other times.
Wellbiome apart from being sold in a few gummies from the online store does not appear to have been launched as an incorporated ingredient by any business partners/customers yet
Leanbiome whilst taken up by THG and incorporated in MyProtein Lean Whey appears to attract sales of circa 300 per 24 hrs and this probably insufficient to justify the hoped for £1.2M annual sales hoped for by SOH. (Other MyProtein wheys can attract circa 15000 sales in 24 hrs; these are more established and hence will have been exposed to the US market. I wonder if the presence of a different TradeMark (TM) Leanbiome, as opposed to Opti's Registered TradeMark Leanbiome, in the US market will cause issues, confusion and difficulties if THG try to launch Lean Whey there.

Finally, we were led to expect a launch of sweetbiotix last year and 5 months on it has still not happened, throw in a diminishing value of the skinbiotherapeutics investment and little wonder the Opti share price is languishing

In May 2021, exploration licences for tenements EPM27901, EPM27902 and EPM27903 were applied for by ECR Minerals’ subsidiary company LUX Exploration Limited (LUX). The tenements are located within the Lolworth Range area, North Queensland. The area has been closely monitored by ECR’s Head Geologist Adam Jones for at least eight years and is considered prospective for gold. The exploration licences for all three areas were granted to LUX on 1 February 2022. The tenements will expire in five years (on 31 January 2027) and, while they will be available for renewal after the initial 5-year term, the area available for renewal will be reduced by 50%, which is a standard term of exploration licences to encourage companies to focus their exploration activities.

LUX has a commitment expenditure of AUD$650,000 for the first three years across the three licence areas, which is expected to be funded from ECR’s existing cash resources."

The 10p valuation nine months ago represented a very different world (pre Ukraine Invasion, Institutionalised inflation) than we have now and every single growth stock is operating on a much reduced P/E ratio etc than now. In fact the 50% share price drop is much less than many other pre-revenue stocks have suffered so that is a very unfair accusation to level at the company

It wouldn't have helped that schoolboy errors were made regarding the actual numbers of the US National Psoriasis Membership, repeated in more than one podcast as being circa 8 million when in fact that represents the number of psoriasis sufferers in the US who will not of course all be members of the association which lists the following stats:

Just 1% take up from 1.4M followers would result in 14,000 new subscribers making the £1.2M by June still a possibility. However, by March only 10 influencers had been signed up with just 100,000 followers, 1% sign up from this audience provides just 1000 new subscribers, hence the "material target miss" statement having to be pushed out. From March RNS "The influencer activity, along with highly targeted Facebook/Instagram ads, created using the influencer content and their audience's data, started in February 2022. The influencers have, so far, posted once, showcasing the product and highlighting its benefits. The content has been delivered to over 100,000 of the influencers' followers and produced an extremely positive 20% overall "engagement rate".

Toyin, the order numbers are significant in that they are sequentially produced. What you don't know however, is the order size that they represent. Additionally, as the US orders are being separately allocated, we have no idea of the take up there post the influencers doing their work.

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and skin care, announces it has entered into a manufacturing and supply agreement with Cereal Ingredients, Inc, ("CII"). The agreement grants CII a licence to manufacture and supply OptiBiotix's award winning SlimBiome® as an extruded product in CII's range of cereal based particulates in the USA, in return for 50% of the profit, with an agreed cost of manufacture and minimum sales price per kilogramme.



Cereal Ingredients is a privately held speciality ingredients manufacturer based in Kansas, USA, dedicated to the development, manufacture and supply of unique, high-quality food ingredients which contribute a meaningful point of difference. Cereal Ingredients have incorporated SlimBiome® into their range of cereal and protein based particulates and speciality ingredients. This technical innovation extends the application of SlimBiome® into bakery products (e.g. cookies, cakes and tortillas), breakfast cereals (puffs, hoops and flakes), crackers, toppings (e.g. salad, breakfast) as well as increasing the range of options for healthy snacks, yoghurts and cereal bars. This significantly extends the scale of the opportunity and creates the potential to develop healthy functional products for the US cereal, snacks, and sports nutrition market.
