Large commercial aircraft I see hydrogen with supercaps; it will be a few years away so plenty of time to work on safer H2 solid state storage; the key issue is weight; once that’s solved then it’s clear. Meanwhile, it’s relatively safe to vent H2 tanks if placed in the wings, given how fast H2 vents. Cars, small trucks and large trucks on short routes BEVs. Long haul trucks and buses FCEV. Same with trains dependant on routes and frequency, uptime and infrastructure. Global Shipping will most likely be mostly onboard FC then propulsion. Short haul ships or ferries BEVs.
