although, I do not expect anyone to care too much what I think . . . but FWIW,
I would certainly not support a low ball offer. Why would I? I am able to see the bigger picture. I am in for the long haul, as I believe that is where true value will finally come out. That has not changed and neither has my opinion as to the potential value of Avacta. A low ball offer would be a cynical insult and I dont ever let cynics insult me just to get their way. My belief is too strong and my nads are too big.
I would absolutely not support a no confidence vote (or any other childish gesture) in the CEO. Not only because IMO he has done a good job in the three years I have been invested but also because the people on this BB having a pop at him are basing their criticism almost soley on their own personal frustration at the SP. I have yet to read a post by anyone, containing credible, verifiable evidence of AS not operating competently on a day to day basis as a CEO . . . how could they? It is just unqualified, personal opinion, skewed by self-interest.
People might say, what about comms? Well fine, perhaps we could have had a bit more information recently, I would welcome that. But I am not about to start ****ging off my own investment because I cant have it. Personally, I do not want a CEO who schmoozes the punters. (Anyone else witness Gerry Brandons antics at Deepverge? . . . Chatting with posters on LSE and Twitter . . . utterly unprofessional and needy beyond belief.) Comms could be better . . . but they are not . . . so what, it is not a reason to start calling for the CEOs head. Jesus, write to him if you have to but bleating like wet nappy wearing, selfish effer on here does nothing other than expose your fragility.
And frankly, I would not be surprised if AS does not feel like pandering to LSE posters who question (with no evidence) his integrity and competence. On a personal level, he has the right to disregard such criticism and on a professional level he has plenty of other things to occupy his time.
Finally, I prefer to think that he and his management team are pretty busy, not only running a groundbreaking clinical trial but hopefully handling a couple or three serious approaches from potential partners and/or BO suitors. That might explain a bit of a hiatus on the comms front, on account of its more important and valublae than chucking bread and games at the mob.
GLA all the sensible LTHs.
