Good morning both. Company getting stronger since last finals, post integration of acquisitions and solutions. Price been going the other way, but reversing back up now as we move toward year end, results and outlook, and maybe trading update or whatever else unknown.

I agree - things look very positive - putting what is known about the company together with CEO/MXCP buying and increased Kestrel position. At half year:- "Outlook I am pleased with the progress we have made in the period and believe Castleton has the building blocks in place for growth as a leading supplier to the public and not-for-profit sectors, specifically the social housing market. The integration of the businesses we've acquired has progressed well and signs from our customers are encouraging. We will continue to concentrate on maintaining organic growth across the Group, whilst increasing profitability by providing more of our customers with our broader range of complementary services - and all the time building our core of repeat revenues." Castleton been doing just that over the current period, and as we approach year end. Capital costs done, moved into small profit at half year 2 larger contract RNSs involving 3 new customer associations ( one in Australia and another the largest in Ireland ) involving all their products. Ongoing successful concentration on cross selling with greater margin from existing 600 plus customers. Previously awarded contracts coming on line as implementation time passes, adding to repeat revenue.

There's that, and you never know but what those 3 picked up will take somebody over a. % or 3. Haha. If we continue like this before a RNS would begin to appear as though decision made to pick up loose shares at this price. Touch wood.

Not a profitable deal!

Thanks for response. I've not held here personally but others connected did, and are watching again. As you know, I'm Ctp on a personal basis and I wish investors here well- what's good for Mxcp can't be bad for Ctp and investee companies, and what's good for investee companies must be good for Mxcp. As I see it nothing fundamentally changed with their business, but there will always be different phases in the investee companies' development and progress, and in their own investment cycle, as well as what might be vagaries in sps. and NAV. I think the next deal may bring a better platform to work from.

Economic sentiment among housing associations is at its highest level since the financial crisis, with landlords scaling up delivery plans despite the looming threat of Brexit. This is the key finding from an exclusive snapshot of sector sentiment, which reveals 34% of associations expect a recessionary environment going forward. This is almost half the 58% which predicted a recessionary environment last year, with 59% entering the figure in 2014 and 2015. The Health of the Sector survey, which has been running since 2007, was conducted by accountancy firm RSM exclusively for Inside Housing. The improved sentiment was linked to the fact that the sector has recently been buoyed by a marked change in political rhetoric from Theresa May’s government, after facing rent cuts and occasional hostility under David Cameron. This was reflected in 74% of associations saying they would increase development plans in the next financial year – a substantial rise from 48% the year before and just 31% in 2015. In addition, 56% of respondents said they had increased development pipelines as a direct result of the measures announced in the Autumn Statement.

Yes. I was alluding to whoever's been making all the big buys. I was thinking that having turned the corner a holdings RNS would be beneficial just now. We've reached, I think, a different stage in the game.

A big trade there now at the same price.

Yes, the rules don't permit 'over enthusiastic' buying. So they will continue as they are, I imagine.

Quite quiet now, without any real number of shares coming on and going into buyers hands.

They seem to be able to get them a bit cheaper than the others. Picking up some and cancelling them, but apart from rise on initial news of buyback not so far driving the sp. up.

Just had a look at the Finance Conference details. As you'd expect the major players are there, and we got Kypera housing and financials designed for housing. Got a good pitch too.

They're continuing to pay 63p for numbers well in excess of EMS of 5000. Must be a continuing buyer for them at the moment at this price.
