I have not lied, I first stated that my parents were financially stable and could afford their heating, his initial reaction to the cut was he was going to turn his heating down, I’m certain other pensioners will have felt the same and will turn their heating down, buts it’s not necessary because they can actually afford it.

It was not a lie, my dad’s 1st reaction to losing the heating allowance was - he will turn his heating down, he can afford having the heating on what ever temp he wants, but he’s a stubborn, old school pensioner.

I test drove the all electric Jag about 18 months ago.

It was an horrendous experience, the stress and anxiety over watching your usage was terrible. the day before I needed to return it I drove to a charging point using valuable mileage to find the charging point was broken and not working. The car had 15 miles charge left and no means of filling it back up. I left the car there (shopping centre) over night and informed the garage it would need recovering.

Needless to say I bought a petrol hybrid.

I disagree, the shackles will never come of the UK banks, the fact the Gov bailed them means we will be forever in the Gov’s pocket to switch the cash tap on whenever they need it.

The banks employ very intelligent people who make lots of money for themselves and the corporation.
