Jambo, I don’t think that’s correct. You are basically saying that mm’s would be left buying up all unsold stock.
Mm’s will keep some stock for liquidity but would not take a large position that would leave them totally exposed.

It’s easy to say stop obsessing about share price when many on here are sitting on big gains. I’ve been sitting here for nearly 2 years and still not breaking even. How can the share almost reach 2.5p on Newmont speculation yet can’t get there on Newcrest JV and results ffs.
Before people say sell up, my yellow streak won’t let me as I know as sure as SxxT it will take off the next day if I did.
This is one of those shares that could be life changing for us all and that’s why most will hold for gold!

Laidback, I don’t know the exact short figure although I believe someone mentioned recently that it was around 20% (can anyone confirm this?)
Either way it’s far too high but if poo goes much higher then it’s my opinion that they will have to close/reduce. However if poo falters or big orange tweets then they may have a last attack in order to exit. With that in mind Zama sale could be announced anytime with the inevitable uplift in share price forcing their hand.

Totally agree JS, but unfortunately you only have to read this board and others to see that’s not always the case.

Ms I don’t disagree with anything you say but it Pi’s that think it’s worth X amount and I’m not selling, where as institutions will just sell and move on.
If however Ggp release results as we go then the share would rise over time and any offer would be at a premium to the then share price. All the buzz and hype is having no effect at present.

Exactly my point. Most shares are held by institutions who have no emotional attachment.

City, that comment was in reply to your earlier post in you said results when known and I’m not not suggesting to release on a hunch. It’s my opinion they do know, how can they not.
I for one wouldn’t be invested here if I thought GH and team were twiddling their thumbs between announcements, after all you wouldn’t get builders in and not check their progress.
So why wouldn’t they know?

IMHO GGP will know or at least have a very good idea of results and until they release we can only speculate as to why they have gone silent.
My frustration comes with the share price, as up to now the NC venture has added nothing to share price at this time even though things seem to be going very well thus far. Any offer for HAv or Ggp will be based on share price at the time which is not necessarily fare value.
