Pemex want to operate it and the Mexican energy minister sits on the board. The Reuter’s article states Pemex have high debts and it’s rated as junk. Furthermore they haven’t even drilled to confirm zama runs under their licence. So why don’t you put a positive spin on that then?

You are a complete tool grippa with your insinuations! My only issues with Pmo is Td and sealion and the obvious manipulation. I’ve been in Pmo since 2015 so have earned the right to be critical!

Strange that Pmo hasn’t dropped as a result of the Zama speculation, if it’s true how can we get full value with that hanging over it

‘indicate the limits of mineralisation have not been closed off. Drilling programs at Havieron are ongoing, with additional drill rig(s) scheduled to commence in the Q2 FY20.’

As JV announced in March then this would be confirming that stage 2 is definitely on would it not?

Anyone got any guesses on which way we will go tomorrow, up or down?

Members, I agree it makes no sense to be at this price and I’m sure the true price will come eventually. Just depends on whether we have all got fed up and sold out before.

My question is why do the shorters like this range so much. They could easily allow it to rise and short it every so often. Is the 70’s an optimal price for them or are they holding it back for any other reason. Any conspiracy theories to explain?

One final point is why didn’t they flinch when on the oil field attack. Logic would dictate that the risk of further disruption is very high added to the questionable inventory reports.
If and when it pops poo could shoot up big style and no manipulation will hold Pmo back.

If the step out drilling is positive at Hav then surely it’s game on for NC. It’s a given we will get blanks but with NC controlling results will hopefully mean they will be buried in with good ones.
It’s clear to all that they need this to secure Telfer’s future so they will drill this to death.

This share surely has to rise on next results if good. We need someone to give us a confirmed baseline of what we have so as further drilling can hopefully increase it as they drill.

It would remove having to guess where the top would be if waiting for the price to build.

That’s the big question. Could it be that they want to take it down further to mitigate any rise from zama. For some reason they like it in the 70’s and by keeping it low it’s easier to pull it back down after any rise.

Some think it’s purely a hedge on oil prices but the truth is no one really knows. Another reason could be the relative small ish number of shares in issue compared to its peers. The size of Pmo means it’s easy to control due to share liquidity as some have suggested. That coupled with weak management in my view all adds up to where we are.

Also for the record Zama was a good move on Td’s part and if we get to £2 in the next year then I will change my opinion of him. I have no issue with being proved wrong if he delivers.

They are referring to the fact TD wants to grow the company where as most on here think he should pay down debt first.
However he has said that the sale of zama will go toward the debt, so in theory a re-rate should be coming.

Just out of curiosity assuming Hav is proved up how long would it take from project sanction to a producing mine?

If you ever remove your head from TD’s back side you may see the truth. This share should be well north of its current price irrespective of poo price.

I don’t have the answers and never professed too. As I’ve said Pmo is a good company and yes it has high debt but it is mauled by shorters who are demoralising Pi’s. Td is paid well and should try harder to deliver value to the share price, if he can’t then should stand aside.
Perhaps as you say I’m not very clever but I thought the basic premise of investing was to make money.

Yes Enq will no doubt have some shorts in play but not to the level at Pmo. Everyone can see how manipulated this share is, no wonder so many sell when it goes up as it’s the only way to get any profit. This share goes wherever the big boys want no matter what news is in the air.

TD does nothing to try and prevent this. In support of this I will remind you of the damage caused by recent placing rumours and subsequent share price fall, and what did our leader do but release a half arxxd we don’t respond to rumours statement.

Members, I’m not saying TD is doing a bad job of running Pmo but he is an accountant more than a CEO. The reason GS are all over this is weakness and nothing else.
There is lots of news coming soon with Zama, Tolmount etc debt coming down yet shorts regular attacking share. What’s your answer to that?
On the subject of other oil companies TLW and enq have little or no shorts at present, so why is Pmo so special?

TD is paid over a million to run the company which includes the share price does it not. Where is our reward for investing.

Everyone who has been in Pmo in the past few years has been on this Merry-go-round many times in regard to the share price.
Pmo has great potential which is why we are here, but seeing our profit eroded time and again is bound to make people negative. I blame management as they don’t seem to care about the share price. TD seems to hide away in between updates and needs to be less predictable otherwise GS and the likes will never leave us.
Ask yourselves why is pmo shorted so much.
