Poo for the foreseeable is controlled by the US and is being manipulated to their gain. At some point this will end but when?
OPEC need to cut to boost price and yet countries outside want to open taps.
The only thing to move poo is for trump to go.

Not to mention certain people in the UK seem to want to vilify oil and gas and the alternatives are decades away from being viable replacements. They also seem to be pushing for pension funds to ditch oil and be more ethical. Lol

The fly in the ointment with the farm in is that we don’t have any control over releasing result. Releasing quarterly is of now benefit to Ggp.

I know we have discussed before as to why this may be. As someone said the other day that the tail seems to wag the dog. I know it’s there money but it’s 100% ours until they hit the required stage and spend.
Also, as we will need further cash down the road surely we need the share price much higher in order to give less shares away and help mitigate dilution.

Hav is front and centre in every report/release of late.
Can’t see that they would continually mention it or show pictures if they weren’t serious about going forward. The surprising thing is it would normally be far too early to speculate on what’s down there, but they seem more than happy to feature it.

It’s ok to have a different opinion on posts but to accuse him of making that up when you have no proof is bad to say the least. It could be he just wants to carry on as normal for as long as possible and enjoys posting.

Agreed Auson, they are quick to say what they don’t like but have no ideas on what to replace.
There has to be a back up fuel for when wind and solar no good and let’s face it the only other alternative is nuclear and who wants that. Gas is the best all round!

Sk has always said “sell the Cat” to which I don’t agree as that’s the asset that has been our saviour in my view.
I do agree with him on the bleak future of oil. Now that the environmentalists have got their platform they will push for an end to petrol and diesel and gas boilers, at least in Europe anyway.
It won’t happen over night but it’s fast approaching.

Labour would be bad for oil full stop. They have already said they will look into North Sea oil if they get in. At the very least we would loose our tax credits.

Why do people on here like to brag about how many shares they hold. They somehow believe they have more to I lose.
The amount of shares held is only relevant to that individuals wealth and no one want to lose however much they are worth.

Seeing the share price back down to these levels is hard to swallow given all the positives.
Sadly this seems a common theme through most of ftse these days that results aren’t always rewarded in share price and has been replaced with rinse and repeat.
Also aren’t we due some more drilling results anytime?

I think it’s also fair to say that Nc will be a couple of steps ahead of us all due to the knowledge and expertise as to what’s down there hence my reasoning behind an earlier buyout.
The risk of them walking away is getting less and less with each set of results. Like you I’m happy with holding as I’ve been here since Newmont and never dreamed we would have a second bite of the cherry.

Your right we will need to fund our share of the mine, which could be why NC have option to buy 5% at market value.
The cost of running the mine will surely come out of the profits.
My view is that it will never come to that as we are not miners and they will make a move prior to any of that. Also this is all speculation as we don’t yet know the true size of Hav.
