Yes the British did do their fair share of pillaging back in the day but that was long ago. As with all empires they sink into away into oblivion.
I put it to you that it is the rest of the world who are sucking wealth from Britain. How many big companies do we own now, not many. Also the establishment as you say are now multinational and have no borders and suck all the wealth and place it into countries with low taxes. That has nothing to do with the English.

TR61, I’m with you all the way. I have believed in this dog for years now but it’s starting to wear thin. It’s obviously not all pmo’s fault but that’s of little comfort.
How I wished I’d have sold at £1.40 but wrongly thought we had turned a corner and where on the up.

Why England and not the British?
Is it England that controls world oil prices? Is it England that has picked a trade fight with China etc?

The only one they need to sell is the one no one wants, Sealion. Given the recent political issue in Argentina then surely it’s too high risk and the one thing we all agree on is we don’t need anymore debt.

Just showed himself for what he is. Why would any decent person wish others to lose money.

Our resident performs a vital function for me, if ever I can’t sleep I just read one of their posts and It’s guaranteed I’ve gone off before I get to the bottom.

Fair points raised Apple, what we are all saying is that exploration companies always have to look for the next funding irrespective of what else is going on.

It would mean that if Newcrest were in talks then they would be handing profit straight to new shareholders if they made an offer as opposed to savings if had the new shares hadn’t been raised.

Apple, why would they look to raise capital if that were true? Why would Newcrest let them if in discussions.
Also if they were only interested in Hav then that would make GH a fool as the share price would be way up after news release not to mention they wouldn’t need to raise.

My preference to shares/warrants would have been for Newcrest to buy into Ggp. That would everyone confidence and give the funds to carry on exploration. This may happen in the future though.

It’s important that we remain balanced though as it is entirely possible that we don’t get the news we hope for, hence the current share price.
It’s disappointing for us all not to have had more of an update and all is quiet.

I seem to remember it went quiet pre Newmont decision, yet it was quiet before Newcrest. Until it’s proven it’s anyones guess where we are heading.
The positive is that Newcrest are powering ahead and would they do that if not committed.
