Perhaps if NCM still refuse to play fair then SD should play his own game and make more of the big company trying to bully the smaller one. It may not make much difference to our situation but could cause difficulties for Newcrest in future dealings with exploration companies. Reputation could be seriously damaged.

Can’t help feeling shocked and saddened by NCM’s behaviour. No wonder SB seemed awkward yesterday on that final question. How can there be any negotiations without a current MRE. Checks and balances should flag this when it goes to the independent value guys as they will require all that info to proceed.

Could be wrong but I seem to remember SB last year saying NCM expected to update MRE at end of year which seemed to be SD’s view. However that changed towards the year end and was indicated it would be February, yet from the last question SB answered last night he appeared to say it’s not ready and that lots of work has to go into it. If it were nearly ready he would have said.

Could it be that NCM’s only focus right now is to get to the magic 75% giving them total control?

Either way it’s no surprise many of us were wrong footed on last nights update.

I would also clarify that I believe Sd is the right man for the job but at the same time I wish he would come out fighting a little more rather than leaving it to the drill bit and NCM.
Hopefully he will put a little more meat on the bone in tomorrows interview.

Yes I’m well up on my original investment but doesn’t mean I like to watch the share decline in value. I just don’t see what part of my statement as you say is incorrect. Since the spike the share price has relentlessly declined and I feel sorry for anyone underwater and it not my intention to rub anyones nose in it. I have never or would ever gloat on my original entry point and was just lucky to get in when I did and nothing more.
My frustration is mirrored by many on here as to what exactly this company has to do to get the price to rise. In my view it’s absolutely criminal what’s going on here and spare a thought for any poor Pi that has to sell as needs the funds, especially the ones post 14p as you mention.

The delay in the updated MRE plays into the hands of the manipulators and NCM will lose no sleep over that since it could give them the opportunity to make a move at these low share prices.

That’s not correct notrader, all I want is my investment to grow. There’s absolutely no reason Ggp can’t give there own appraisal other than to risk upsetting NCM

I have to agree with DH’s sentiments. I’ve been in this share since 2018 and the more gold we find the more the share declines. It’s not unreasonable to expect some sort of fight back. As a company we can’t expect NCM to do that for us. It’s time SD came out with his view of what we think we have.

SD did mention resource upgrade expected February in one of his interviews.

Let’s see if SB clarifies anything in the Q&A’s if asked. Presentation is just about to start.

Yes I have to agree NCM are playing us. Anyone noticed they are now saying ground conditions could continue to be difficult (or words to that effect).

Agreed Walkabout, ultimately all that matters is that they both know. I just worry with the share price so low the party could be over before it’s begun.
It’s ultimately it’s in Pi’s hands to agree a buyout price, but who knows what the majority would except. That’s the real danger we face.

Personally, I’m disappointed we didn’t have a resource upgrade when the 5% negotiations were triggered. That would have provided a base for negotiations and helped our share price. Can’t help feeling we have been dancing to NCM’s tune a little too much.
I know they are the managers but wouldn’t have hurt for our management to put their own spin on things.

Sorry guys but the divi was cut by 50% a few years ago and has not returned even with oil where it is today. Difficult to regard a 4% increase as anything other than an insult.

I thought the same Matt. He also indicated he didn’t like the 5% in the JV deal.
He addressed many questions with confidence with a dose of reality. Far better than any other interview I’ve seen before.

Agreed, if it’s truly district scale discoveries to be found then that’s amazing for all concerned and wish our neighbours the best. I just don’t want a to see us get carried away like we did with the MRE.

He is touting Artimes to GGP shareholders as the next best thing. They may well have the next big discovery but all I see at the moment is a nosey neighbour looking over the fence, drooling over our prize pumpkin and watching it grow.

Zoros, I have no problem with notion of a free and fair market where things go up and down. However, borrowing other peoples shares to pull a price down, which in turn damages the position of the owner of said shares, How is that even allowed?
As you say though it’s not illegal but needs calling out so hopefully one day soon it will be.
