However I feel they are being slightly disingenuous in their response. Every drill update provided by Ggp refers to continued growth drilling, so why no increase in the inferred or indicated. They’ve had eight rigs drilling yet no upgrade to either. A cynical person such as myself would be forgiven for thinking something doesn’t smell right especially given discussions on the 5% going on. Add the constant attack on our share price.

I would imagine SD or someone from his team will read this board from time to time, why wouldn’t he. It’s generally a good forum with many diverse points of view. No better way to understand the crowd. He will be well aware of our strength of feeling. We can be confident he will be working out a solution.
It won’t be done overnight but I would prefer our CEO to take his time to formulate his reaction rather than responding with a knee jerk reaction.

Any emails sent to Newcrest won’t get past the first person, they have got enough issues from their own shareholders.

Tig, I think you answered your own question. A CEO works on behalf of his shareholders.
SB is not our CEO and his priorities are to his own shareholders.

Its important for me to state that it’s nobody’s business but your own if you choose to complain to SB or anyone else.

Why not if you feel strongly about the matter. We should all follow our own convictions.

Josh, the facts speak for themselves. First the update was due in December, then moved to February. Then from SB questions he makes clear that there is no update and it’s not a priority.
Clearly someone is telling porkies, either you believe SD as I do or SB. Added to that SB says the resource upgrade and the 5% are not connected.
Please tell me what I’ve misunderstood?

Jerry, I get where your coming from about the email, it is embarrassing as a Ggp shareholder bleating to another company as to how mean they’re being. I personally would never do such a thing. It’s cringeworthy!
That being said, I can fully understand why people want to vent at SB, he’s not our friend and will have nil interest in what we think. Furthermore his actions do indeed hold our share price back as we can clearly see. His behaviour isn’t exactly helping his JV partners and has given no reason for deciding not to publish an update that we and the market were expecting.

I’m no wordsmith, but bare with me.

I have a fascination with trees, in particular to the redwoods. These trees are the biggest and oldest in the world, however their seeds are tiny and you could pack 100 or more into the size of an acorn. Every now and again one of these tiny seeds will land in the right place and grow and start it’s journey to the sky. However, roaming around the wood is Mr deer, he’s hungry and on the lookout for a tender green shoot, and given half a chance he will consume our little tree.
Luckily our little tree has a friend, Mr park ranger and he knows just how greedy Mr deer is. He and his friends will protect the little green shoot so hopefully it will grow to its true size and potential one day.

Hopefully you get where I’m going with my ramblings. Yes, we are small and our partners are much bigger but given the right protection and the room to grow we could be a big player one day. Odds are stacked against us, but it does happen and I believe we have the best team to give us the best chance. We have to relax and trust them to do their job.

Interesting you don’t think we have access to the drill core logs. The drill core logs we are contributing to and have been paid for as part of the 70% Newcrest has gained from us.
Don’t know how poor little Ggp have managed so long with no computers and software.

Also December is FS and the end date for NCM to invoke the 5% clause.
If it goes to independent decision it could be done in a few month I would imagine.

My take is that they still have good relationship at present and have expressed their views to NCM.
Ggp also don’t rule out providing their own figures, or pressuring our partners to do the right thing. Unlike the comment about FS being solely down to Newcrest.

It’s important that we support the board and trust them to find their way through. Also it’s only natural to challenge information, but ultimately it’s up for the individual to decide whether they believe what they read on here and leave it there.
We don’t want to be in a position that GGP stop responding if challenged. Things just need to run the coarse.

Not sure what any of us have got to gain by lying about these emails. There’s no new information contained as you would expect, Greatland are only reiterating what was said on the recent interview.

The team at Greatland share the view that defining an updated the resource and reserve for Havieron is a priority and a foundation for an equitable discussion on value. This is a focus for the Greatland team. The definitive Feasibility Study is a separate process and Newcrest as the Joint Venture Manager are responsible for preparing this Study.

I would like to ask a question in regard to the expected MRE update. Like many fellow shareholders I’m disappointed that we didn’t get an update with Newcrest’s recent market update. If NCM were to delay an update until the expected December Feasibility study, Could Greatland release their own updated MRE to market if they felt it was required? Or does the joint venture agreement prohibit this.

We have an amazing discovery that keeps growing and I personally have never been invested in such an exciting company with so much potential. I would also like to say a big thank you to Shaun and the team for the hard work going into growing the company.
