Anyone have any idea how long a well clean up takes? They have been at this now for a few weeks so just wondering when we can expect the results. Had feared they had left this for bad news Friday, I guess no news this bodes well.... Could we get a nice boost early next week?
Offer already received is the one we are waiting on Dunder. Big companies can be notoriously slow.... Hughs words. Whoever the major is may find themselves in a bidding war with others who have now been in the data room now .....

Really positive article for a player operating in and around Ireland! ‘CNOOC is announcing its budget and production target for 2019 later this month’ Maybe once they tell their investors about budgets and production later this month they will then finalise deals and tell the markets.....our deal being one of them ???
To be fair I actually laughed out loud at the willy shake comment:-) Anyway seems as the mood has lightened here, and just to be optimistic, as someone who has been here a very long time and keep track of movements on a daily basis. The last time EOG hit these levels (low as it has ever been) a year or so ago, at the bounce, the price movements were very similar to what we have seen last few days. Large volumes, all under mid point but above bottom sell price with no sp movement. Then on small volumes a hefty drop but rebound same day (yesterday this dropped 16% at one point but finished almost level). Last time this happened, the sp in the space of a few days/weeks bounced to 6p plus on no news. Hopefully we will get some news shortly but just saying!!! Welcome aboard Jonnie
Fair enough Dunder, I get you.
With regards to the workover work, yes this looks to have over ran. Hugh mentioned in an interview back end of Nov/early Dec that they hoped to announce the results of this work in Dec. Clearly this never happened which is disappointing.
I have emailed the company re this and Hugh has, as always responded. I am not the type to copy and paste emails and obviously he didn’t give anything away that is market sensitive. Basically these works are still ongoing, too early to update the market on the resultant impact.
Can’t be far off but that’s my own opinion
well the old 100 shares trade has been touted a lot as an mm signal before now!
There has been some very very strange trades of late, big volumes under the mid price yet no drop, over 1m today alone. Then we have these piddly buys at full ask......
Just to be clear Dunder, I am not suggesting anyone or yourself to stop posting. And Tacuma I am well and truly a member of the long suffering shareholder society.
In the same way positive posters and repetition of such is shot down for potentially influencing investors, I am saying the same applies to constant negative posters. Most LGH have no choice but to hold, myself included, but rather than constantly rant negative repetition, find a decent boozer with a barman who is a good listener.
Here's to farm outs very soon before we all fall out!
TotalLy get that Dunder, but it has been said repeatedly and I think most now need to stick or twist. We don’t want a ramp fest but same time don’t want to keep reading the negative comments re the past. It has been warranted though, I myself like to email my frustrations direct to the company and in my case I always get a response, no matter how abrupt and angry my email has been. Find that more rewarding personally, faceless BB’s isn’t going to help my frustrations. To be fair to Dream on last post, that was copy and pasted from recent RNS so although nothing is guaranteed, that is the current state of play and all very positive for a minnow like EOG
Good on you Dream On. My investment is way down, I have been here a very very long time and have seen and heard all the false dawns and failed promises. We are where we are, time to wipe your lip and get on with it or bail. Right now the potential is huge and we are primed, the past is clouding everyone’s judgement, including mine of late but this is then manifesting itself in a negative board which does then affect new investors and as a result our own investment. Posting frustrations and negative comments is good and has been warranted here. Enough now, let’s see what the next few weeks and months bring, GLA and IMO blah blah blah
Looking for a short term boost in our SP, hopefully take us at least back towards the 6p mark any day now with results from the workover project at West Firsby…..sure this was due to complete end of Dec?
From the AGM presentation, this work could potentially add 160 barrels to our production. This is a significant uplift, this is basically our cut of Wressle and could be onstream immediately. If this is the case and we do see an extra 160 BOPD added, this is a proactive approach from the BOD with regards to the saga with planning at Wressle IMO
They never actually said that they wouldn’t still go ahead and open the data for Inishkea, however I guess we all assumed (or at least I did) that considering all we are waiting on is head office sign off, they wouldn’t both with the data room……
Reading the presentation though, it looks like as a precaution to delays with head office sign off, they are still going ahead with open market sale of the license. Guess it’s similar to selling your house, you could get offer accepted but it remains on the market until the deal is certain (proof of funds blah blah blah). They say in the presentation, data room to open in Dec, bookings for physical data room in Jan being taken, however one offer already received. They also mention one of the Corrib partners being a potential farminee…..
I actually agree, I think it is another, bigger company. However the same logic might exist. The new farm in partner might have been waiting for this so they could be sure the new Corrib operator was someone willing to extend the field and make all the effort and expense worthwhile…. Clearly EOG have had discussions with Vermillion regarding tie backs etc, they mention us in their presentation and we have also partnered with them before so EOG have the contacts. These tie back discussions and eventual agreements will be the critical to Inishkea development, and it would mean nothing if Vermillion hadn’t finalised the operatorship deal.
