More like 45p! Could the end of Iolar stifle an end to the farmout saga?
Either it was successful and we get a three well commitment or we finally commit to drilling just Inishkea next year....

Hugh must have fallen out with Malcy, not answering his calls

I asked for an update recently, Hugh said, ‘We have three surveys in the application process. I am not going to offer a prediction when we will get approval but we are monitoring it closely.’
He did also say that DCCAE are supportive of the oil industry. I was ****ging them off with the constant delays and requests for information as it looks from the outside in that they were delay tactics, apparently I am wrong and this is mostly to do with compliance with recently introduced European directives.
They need to get this Morocco debacle sorted
Hard to tell these things, but as Jusmel has recently pointed out on a twitter group, last year he held about 7.5m, now he has 21m. Big vote of confidence, Hugh if you are reading, any chance you could start delivering some news flow please, it’s been a while :-)
Sorry just reading a few past applications, some info requests are within the consultation period, some afterwards.
CNOOC’s recently granted drill permit was circa 3 weeks after end of consultation period, we have used same consultants for the application so they should know exactly what they are doing...
Total agree Serif and in fact I have not wanted to highlight the site survey approval as impact news, because I too fully expected some bureaucratic nonsense and requests for further info as a delag tactic. However, firstly our submission looks on point, and has picked up on all the lessons learnt by our peers with their requests for further info. Also, when further info has been requested, this has usually been within the consultation period and then the date extended. Our consultation period ended 3 weeks ago so they would have to have notified the company by now surely?
I expect news this week on either site survey given go ahead (provisionally booker a vessel for 15th July) or Morroco being completed. Current sentiment, either should sustain the gains up to 5-6p I think. When farm out lands.... bingo
