Agreed a hostile takeover if they bought shares beforehand would send the sp many times higher than it is now but what I meant was an actual hostile bid direct to the bod who would then have to put it to the shareholders to vote on, obviously it's got to be at a fair value which for me personally would be 10p.

Again why in the world would any company pay that amount for a JV when COPL's mcap is currently under £15M and they could just do a hostile takeover for say £20M and own the whole company, 1B+ barrels are worthless until it comes out the ground.

Also, if the assets were really that good why hasn't anther O&G company snapped them up, think about it.

It seems 10p is a physiological barrier for some, once broken it should start to rerate.

Duster, I don't think there is a JV much like the RBL, Nigeria and other carrot dangling highlights.

Since when has the company which is basically AM ever said anything that was truthful, RBL, JV, Nigeria, no more placings, the list is endless.

Rampers are either deluded, very easily led, not that bright or in some case all of those. No one can argue the undisputed fact that the more negatives folks here have called it right since day one.

If you think this is bad just wait until the consolidation is announced, it will be carnage.
