This is why it's crucial that AS is able to raise cash at short notice if he needs to, to maintain those percentage holdings. Once the first exit takes place, all this placing nonsense will be behind us. So if there is a placing - and it's not likely in my opinion, but is possible - we shouldn't moan too much as the alternative, if another incubator came up with the money, would be a reduced percentage holding and so less cash upon exit.

Ivor, yes, this is the way I see it. But this crucial fact seems not to be noticed by a lot of AIM punters.

Not a company I'm familiar with personally. I see they're already worth well in excess of a billion though, so how much bigger can they get? Tern is a startup by comparison, until it makes its first exit. And given the large percentages it holds of some excellent tech startups, is a bargain with high value growth potential, in my opinion. GROW... I'm less sure, although it's probably a very safe investment, looking at it. Just unlikely to be a multibagger?

Of course you would. You're a trader. The actual value of an enterprise - the reflection of the work by its employees that it represents and it's potential for making actual money - is irrelevant to parasites like you. If I was starting up a company, there is no way in a million years that I'd consider listing it on the AIM. It's nothing more than a shark infested casino, full of short termers who chase lines on charts and who care nothing for what the business actually does.

Don't assume a RNS. Tern rarely issue RNSs relating to investee developments. One reason is that there are so many developments across the investees that they'd be issuing RNSs every day. And they're expensive.

Medigate are a market leading company specialising in the security of medical devices, of which there are millions. They're an American/Israeli company. They've partnered with DA because they lack the patented tech that DA has and that can ensure device security at any scale (ie number of devices) automatically, including older and legacy devices.

You can bet this is a result of Biden's 90 day deadline to get companies and organisations to make their systems hacker proof. And you can bet that Medigate are not the only ones talking to Device Authority.

I reckon Medigate represent the first of many. The start of the storm.

There's also the Slovakian RTZ Jadar project, which everyone keeps forgetting about. It's a long way out yet but could be big. Not a threat of course. Demand is still for everything that can be supplied, and more.
