Obersteigr, that's an interesting read. But I think the New Silk Road represents a threat to virtually every industry in Europe... or an opportunity depending on your perspective. Whilst Microvast might be importing chinese cells, the same rail link is an export route for Lithium Hydroxide. Not that i think we'd need to use it as there will be more than enough demand in Europe - from VW alone - to satisfy EMH. Think of Microvast as a battery importer, and remember that there are also battery factories in Europe. Including manufacturers who are chinese and far eastern companies.

The New SIlk Road is a fascinating project. On the face of it, it seems like a great opportunity for areas of the world (Kazakstan and the other 'stans') to develop, and for increased trade to take place between china and the west. On the other hand, it could also be seen as china extending it's influence to an unacceptable degree. Either way, Europe better wake up. The Chinese have already bought Piraeus Port in Athens.

Fingers, it's great to read these reports and analyses of demand, but to be honest, we all know the demand is there and will grow substantially. I for one don't need to be told. I know the market for Li is going to explode and I know we're well positioned for that explosion. As does everyone here. You may have noticed that despite all your positive market news on this board, the share price is inexorably falling. It's clarification on the deal and more good news as to how things are progressing that's required. Where is the expected KC interview? Rather than items on how much demand there'll be, where is information on EMH's position? This is all people want.

I don't hang my coat on anyone's peg. And I don't see you as having called anything right. Just conjecture and assumptions. Seasoned with a heavy sprinkling of pomposity.

If geomet is worth 66m, and we own half, then our mcap would be what it is... ie little or no movement from yesterday. Which is what's happening. But if that's how the market is judging this, and is not factoring in the consequent benefits, then I remain baffled. I only assume that it will come to pass.

CEZ have just pumped 34 million euros into the thing. Which will take us to the point of production. The cost of building the mine and processing facility is what... 500m?... We'd have had to raise that ourselves eventually. There'd have been huge dilution. This is a good deal. And it guarantees us a future and a large holding in a massive project that's worth a fortune.

Part state owner ship, often through a pertly state owned commercial entity, is common throughout the world in all extractive oil and mining industries. had a partner been Chinese, they'd almost certainly have ben part state owned. And elswhere across the world, the story is the same. Here's a couple of mentions..

It would be easy to find more. I found these in 30 seconds. I don't have a problem with it at all. As for the loss of majority stake, what did anyone expect? CEZ have all the money and the ability to move this forward. 49% is, in my opinion, the best we could have hoped for. Well done Keith.

I doubt a long term plan. Rather a sequence of events that drew attention to an issue that needed to be sorted.

Remember too that our partner not only has mining experience, but is a power company that wants to be a player in the storage market itself, and so knows it well. A two-in-one. Fantastic.

Well I think this is great news. The share price will be volatile in the short term I suspect, but in the longer term EMH, undiluted, will now own 49% of the fourth largest non brine Li mine in the world, that's fully funded through to construction and will be proceeding. The project now has properly funded backing and negotiations with offtakers can proceed in earnest. I really don't think we could have hoped for more. However we ended up raising investment, we would have lost a degree of control. But the mine is now certainly proceeding and, for a tiddler, EMH owns nearly half of a phenomenal project. Only a few months ago we were worrying about ever owning anything.

I think those 50k trades may be a rollover.

I have a fairly large holding but the whole thing has taken much longer than I expected so I've had to sell a few at a loss. Hoping to make that back shortly.
