No no, it's fact. I'm a scientist. I only deal in facts that are proven by evidence. That's what science is.
But enough. No ill feeling. Go your own way. But (imo) you'd do yourself a favour by taking a more positive approach to this share. It's flawed of course. All investments are. And there's risk...it's a small company on the AIM. And I'd never advise putting all one's eggs in this basket any more than I would for any other. But it's worth a punt because the simple truth is that the tech startups that Tern are invested in are doing well. And Tern's mcap is so modest that the share price cannot help but rise upon an exit. If you research DA especially, it seems to me to be blindingly obvious that it will sell for considerably more than Tern's current entire mcap. Which is why, irksome as the low share price is, it doesn't actually matter because the company will suddenly acquire substantial cash one day - could be tomorrow or next year - and that's where the value will come from. Assuming no black swan events.
But if you disagree, you're always free to leave and devote your attention to another share in which you have more confidence. Why spend time on here whinging? Unless you're shorting.. in which case may I suggest that your technique is flawed? You're supposed to ramp it at the bottom of the range and disparage it at the top. Not disparage it at the bottom... and Tern has been floating between 8 and 12p for ages. If I were you I'd start ramping it up to 11 or 12, then lay into it. But no skin off my nose either way.
