I think the problem here is cash flow. Many great businesses are destroyed by cash flow problems. They are unable to raise any more money from the markets so they are having to get rid of assets that cost money to run. I hope they get through this. I think they probably will providing markets begin to recover and their debtors are solvent.
It's a very odd RNS. I read it a few times and it still seemed weird. So sadly, I am out for now. Will keep watching to see what happens....
Looks to have formed a nice base now. Downtrend is probably over. I would like to see a massive pickup in volume though. At least 5m shares would be good. That would probably double the share price in just a few hours.
I think they had their arm twisted by WH Ireland. It was very bad advice in my opinion and the sooner they drop WHI, the better. The upside is that it caused this price crash enabling us to buy at ridiculous prices. On the downside, older share holders were screwed. That causes distrust. Change your broker ACE!
Yes. Doesn't mean too much really. It's incredibly volatile down at this price. I think a price back above 5p will start to get my attention. Interim results should be out later this month. It will make interesting reading...
It is interesting that everyone has gone! So the volatility of the last few weeks was all caused by a pretty small group of small investors. Strangely enough, I think that's good. It is larger institutional investors that are needed here. Investors who have patient money. They will come I think after the next trading statement.
If I were ACE, I would change my broker for giving very bad advice. I would then issue a trading statement as soon as possible. I hope they avoid the temptation to take the company private at a knock down price! A change of broker and a solid statement would be all they needed to turn this around and get the shares back up to 20p where they belong.
More like management buyout if we aren't careful. They could probably steal it for 8p if they put their minds to it. And I wouldn't blame them! Would be the markets fault for such a blatant mispricing.
Yep. Some people can't see blocks of gold waiting to be picked up. Yet when it suddenly leaps by 100%' they will be gagging to buy. Funny world.
I'll stop looking now. Hopefully I have shown that this is not a fly by night company? It's a real and large entity providing real solutions.
SHANDONG, People's Republic of China – August 31, 2014 During a meeting here on Saturday, Prime Minister the Hon. The below posting is of a 5 year contract with rising revenues. This is not a fabricated company with fake accounts. It is real!
Auhua Clean Energy Plc (AIM: ACE) (“ACE”), the environmental technology group, is pleased to announce today that it has entered into a five-year distribution agreement (“Distribution Agreement”) with Istidama LLC (“Istidama”), a United Arab Emirates-based business offering a range of services related to corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Istidama has an extensive sales and distribution network in the UAE, helping clients to match power generation requirements with clean-tech solutions. Under the terms of the Distribution Agreement, Istidama will sell split-unit solar water heater systems supplied by ACE, with a minimum annual performance requirement of 10,000 units annually, increasing to 50,000 units over a five year period. ACE has also granted Istidama the non-exclusive right to distribute ACE’s products solely in the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (“GCC”), which comprises Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The GCC contract has the potential to generate in excess of US$ 100 million revenues in the mid-term. David Sumner, non-executive Chairman of Auhua, said: "This deal marks a significant milestone in Auhua’s international expansion strategy as our first distribution deal outside of China with contracted revenues that we are confident will materialize over the next five years. We are delighted to work with Istidama which has an extensive network across the GCC and is one of the UAE’s leading corporate social responsibility and sustainability consultancies. I will post a few of these as I find them. This is a proper company with proper sales! Even in America.. Auhua Clean Energy announced a joint development agreement with the Lyles School of Civil Engineering, Purdue University in Indiana, US, to optimise their solar thermal collectors. The collectors are manufactured by Taiwan Ziolar Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Auhua Clean Energy. Purdue will work with Taiwan Ziolar to enhance its solar thermal collectors. The partners plan to increase system efficiency, structural strength, safety, durability and thermal management. To achieve this goal Purdue University plans to further improve its composite material and proprietary coating technologies. Additionally the partners plan to advance the building integrated solar thermal applications of the design. All technology developed under the joint development agreement will belong exclusively to Auhua. David Sumner, Chairman of Auhua, added: “We are committed to advancing our competitive advantage in thermal solar globally. Partnering with one of the best regarded engineering schools in the world, Purdue University, helps us to achieve these goals.” Jan Gesthuizen
AIM stocks are volatile. And little AIM stocks are super volatile. When we are up 35%, everybody is as high as a kite. Down 35%, it is the opposite. Honestly, it's better to not pay any attention to these wild swings. Those of us that are investors have a clear reason to be here, and a clear target price. For me, that price is 18p. This the the lowest price that I would consider the company to be of a reasonably fair value. That would be a PE multiple of 6. Still low, but not stupid (like now). In the meantime, it will go up and down with wild swings. Nerves of steel are a must. Most people don't have them. But that's why those of us that do will make the big bucks.
Green, blue, red....pick a colour :)
It's so illiquid, it could even go blue later today. Got to ride with this volatility to make the big bucks!
All this up and down is just very small investors selling and buying in small chunks. There has been no relevant announcement from the company and no reason to expect a suspension. It's just very illiquid. Could easily be up 35% tomorrow. I still think it's about time the company gave a trading update though!
Maybe, maybe not. They could just be busy running the company! However, it is certainly time that they issued a proper statement to refute the nonsense that is being put out on Chinese companies in general. I suspect we might get one shortly. If you want to encourage them a bit, try emailing davidjsumner@auhuacleanenergy.com A few emails might work wonders.
I contacted the company today as I think they should be doing more to refute the wild rumours that are floating about. I will post any reply here.
