They are not a very good fit for the AIM Casino. PEL have a sustainable business and good contract wins, and are not prepared to ramp themselves to gain a short term share price boost. I'm not worried by this morning's drop. Once the news is digested properly and amplified through the podcast this will recover. I'd rather be invested in a co who prioritise running their business over writing a glitzy RNS

Very solid IMO. No dilution, continuity of management, growth in earnings and EBIDTA. PEL reminds me of something. Slide show available later, and podcast. That's it, investing :-)

I've taken his comment at face value, although the way I understand it if they do grant the permit Red Leaf can start work, and continue if/when there is an appeal. I see the Red Leaf permit application is no longer on the Utah Water Website application section, but I can't find it anywhere else. I guess that means they are considering it. I don't suppose Mark Novak gave you any idea how long this normally takes, marbellamike? It'd be nice to get some JORC news as well.

Yes, Friday is the deadline for objections to Red Leaf's discharge permit, so a key date for the capsule process. Tomco talked about it on 13th Aug: "TomCo is aware that the Utah Division of Water Quality is soliciting comments prior to 27 September 2013 on its request to issue a ground water discharge permit to Red Leaf Resources," TomCo said in the statement.

It was intended as a question, I don't claim to be an expert and stand to be corrected! I sense general confidence in the water discharge licence. My gut feel is that good news on the discharge licence will generate renewed interest and push it to around 2p, i.e. where it was on Monday! I don't really want to think about what effect bad news would have! Also it occurred to me that effects are much more likely to be seen next week, as Utah is 7 hours behind us and it is their announcement. However if the JORC status is upgraded then the valuation of 3.2p in the excellent article kidx posted a link to on Saturday is much easier to justify. Therefore I think JORC is the important announcement. Anyway, I intend sticking around and gradually increasing my holding.

Now that I've moved from lurker to poster, here's a question for our more learned friends. Surely any announcement re water discharge will be made in Utah, and so could very well be after the markets close here? Anyway, the JORC announcement must be more important, surely, as the water discharge permit is generally regarded as a done deal? By way of introduction I've been in since April & have 500,000 at 1.73 average. No short term plans to let any go, in fact quite the opposite.
