If I was to attempt to make a living by short selling I would of course claim to own shares to legitimise my relentless bashing as the concerns of an honest investor.

I know it’s stating the perfectly bleedin’ obvious, but is the only way to understand the cognitive dissonance required to post half baked continuous bashing, and hurl abuse at your fellow investors.

As an aside, confidence intervals are only really useful when applied to experiments which can be repeated, or populations which can be sampled multiple times, so not much use here.

Signing a gas to power deal into the pipeline means signing a large supply deal from the get go, to get to this would mean significant capital needed and hence dilution, plus longer time to initial monetisation.

CNG allows is to do this organically.

My plain reading of the RNS has the work on the access road and pad on the past tense, suggesting they are complete:

“the access tracks and roads to the MOU-2 location have been upgraded and the well pad construction has been completed following a recent site visit by the management team to the drilling location”

I think that unless we hear otherwise we are then within the time scales from the recent presentation.

They didn’t understand the technicality of the business, and the amount of DD was unbelievable, much of it inappropriate, with massive duplication between technical legal and financial

I don’t disagree Terence, but I have two takeaways.

Even when everyone is pushing in the same direction there are slippages.

If you build all the slippage into your aspirational targets, then you will probably miss them too.
Ambitious targets keep the pressure on, such as one can

I established a successful business a number of years ago.

Not huge, but very profitable with blue chip customers who were locked in to development an support contracts.

My exit strategy was a trade sale. There was a very keen buyer, and we were willing sellers. The company was as clean as a whistle - no debts, cash in the bank, many years profitable trading history, no weird shareholdings are share classes. We had many customers in common with the acquirers, on complementary projects.

We were in discussions for 3 years. We then signed HOT on the deal. They wanted to get in done in another 6 months. It took another 2.5 years.

I’d be interested to hear the naysayers personal experience of similar deals, and the read across here.

What are you folks defining as the “current discovery”?
