Before a placing there is often a pump to get the sp higher as this would give greater leverage to raise more in a placing

I'm sure you have been around long enough to see a rise in sp for no reason, followed by a placing

Likewise in both my and wife's HL account

It wouldnt surprise me if the SP was walked up before the placing to keep the lights on.

It could be a good trading opportunity but too risky for me as I would no doubt get caught out with a placing RNS.

I'm with HL and I have not received any notification about the open offer of 1p for current shareholders. Should I have received something by now from HL or will this only happen after the AGM?

Sorry for the naïve question but I;ve never taken part in this kind of offer before.

If anyone thinks the SP will be going down from current levels, then it would make financial sense to sell even at a loss and then buy back later at a cheaper price. You would ameliorate your loses by doing, that rather than staying invested as the sp fell.

Not wanting to sell at a lose and therefore "make the lose real" is a reason why so many compound their loses in a poorly performing and falling share.

What does early production mean?

Answer. Anything !

But why the need in the RNS to qualify the "3 months in production" statement with the caveat of "anticipate" further down? The qualifying statement IMHO "trumps" the unqualified statement -- otherwise why the need to use the word "anticipate" to qualify the first comment?

CB loves to obfuscate, so he will hope many will focus on the first "3 months" unqualified timeline rather than the later qualifying timeline !

Get out of jail card is the word "Anticipate" in RNS

IF production happens as stated in the RNS then that would see a shift in sentiment IMHO as we may be able to finally start believing what CB says!! Imagine that !

I'm expecting production to start in mid / late Q3. A pause / slow down for rainy season and then ramping up again to full capacity during Q2 2027

Lets hope that is not prescient, but very pessimistic.!

What that production does, whenever it starts, to the SP is the more important question.1.5p? 2p? 3p?

I have seen the videos and it does look like SK will be in production at some point in the future. Hopefully this year

However, the two questions are

1. When will production ACTUALLY start?

2. How much will the NET income to Xtract ACTUALLY be?

Manica production did not see the SP spike.

I'm not saying the SP can't / wont go above 3p with SK and Antimony news, but I will believe it when I see it.

Exactly Ben. Finally someone has woken up !

Reading some of these posts over the last week or so . it seems that many LTH have had a memory wipe recently.

Believing what we want to think is going to happen is how many of us all got into a mess in the first place.

A while back, all LTH seemed to come to a collective view that you should ignore what CB says in interviews or what the roast boys say - that now seems to have changed !!

Silverking / Antimony exploration, may or may not prove to be a change in the companies fortunes (and CB's reputation) and we may see an increase in SP back to 3p +, but I'm going to wait and see what the actual income levels are and when that happens, before now calling CB the messiah.

IMHO, He's still a very naughty boy.

I thought it would quickly rise to 1.3p / 1.4p

I got in on the bell and increased to 1.5M . Top up 108K buy and 200K buy in my and wife's ISA 1.15 and 1.148.

200K buy not showing for some reason.

IF ASK drops to 1p I will add more and happy to buy more in offer and then just see how it looks then.

Re Muti bagging. It has gone from 0.23 to 1.1 so has already nearly x 5 bagged. I think going into the teens is a big ask as that would see it nearly 60 bag from its lows. That could happen but would seem unlikely IMHO

That may be optimistic but I would be very please if that plan comes to fruition and if it does keep going up after I have sold out ( and I suppose it could) then fair paly to anyone who had the balls not to sell.

Whats really good to see is that the RNS is consistent with what the forward guidance was re the placing price. Initial placing sounded too good to be true but it appears we can trust the company !

I will be taking as much as allowed in the offer (175K I think for me ) and loading up in the open market to increase my holding to 2m - currently 1.2m

That's as much risk I want to take at this stage as there is still risk here with timelines possibly taking longer than anticipated.

If FDA is approved then its fill your boots.

I think its fair to say we are now in a much better place due to DN's intervention than we were a few months ago !

I think one major fault of Aim investors is not wanting to sell at a loss and thereby "making the paper loss real"

I've had that mind set my self early on when I started in Aim 10 years ago, but now have overcome the emotion of that pressure not to sell.

I';ve lost £30K+ here but it could have been worse if this goes into admin.

If it doesn't, then I may get some / all of my losses back if I see progress and recovery and start again at a substantially lower price than when I sold.

Oh and I agree with all your other points in your post BP

Sub 1p is inevitable IMHO
