The thing with 1000:1 consolidation, on any level makes absolutely no sense, even with all the bonds and shares outstanding, say 1bn, it consolidates down to 10m shares, like wtf, where is the liquidity in a stock like that?

Also this boner from instis doesnt make sense unless he wants to place, but why would he want to if a JV is incoming with "a major" with plenty of cash attached?

Everything he is claiming if the email and the silly twitter posts are his, I dont think they are make zero sense, are totally contradictory and just add to the **** show that is COPL of late.

All the more reason to vote NO to any consolidation.

Oh and the BS reason of $1 stock for US instis to come onboard is total nonsense, there are plenty of US instis including the big one Black Rock invested in penny stocks in commodities all over the world incl the US.

But the facts over the last 3 years unfortunately from a shareholder value standpoint look terrible.

Lets hope the next 3 years are not the same but those that are 80-90% down on their investment need 800-900% just to get to breakeven, those I have huge sympathy for.

On any JV, frankly Id tell them to do one if they cant front $100-200m up front. Open the deal room and lets have it. Most of these majors are sat on stack and stacks of £££. See Shell results today as an example. They also pi..55 away quite a lot exploring themselves in wild locations, so if any commercial terms require ii investment for any phase as part of a JV, thats a bad deal for COPL...if a JV discussion exists.

What does he need institutional investors for? He cant control a free market unless he intends to raise some cash immediately after a JV is announced and post coblnsolidation? Thoughts.

These types of deals take years, so lets see. Ive been here 5 and never post as its one of those wake up and smell the coffee type shares.

Over 3 and 4 years respectively,.so actually 9m and 12m a year, of which in a services business say 50% gross profit margin, so 4.5 and 6m, so 10.5m a year gross, minus costs etc so maybe left with 25%, so 5.25m a year, aint gonna get a an Ebitda greater than 6-8 so £30-40m mcap based on those contracts. By my calc overvalued at 50p plus based on those contracts alone.

Right guys, I'll be honest, legals will take 3 months, commercials terms sre agreed prior and then legals are entered whoch can take a few weeks. Im really not expecting a JV until July/August earliest based on todays RNS. Anyone that thinks the legals on these types of deals is done in a week or two doesnt have a clue about corporate law. Manage your own expectstions, good thing is if price stays lows, more top ups.
