They are not sure about the severity of Omicron, more deadly or not than the current dominant strain Delta. Time needed to work that out.

Being more transmissible and being more dominant than Delta would, to my mind, push up the number of 'Covid' infections.
So more people self-isolating (due to track & trace), so bad news for the economy.
