Despite all the activity this afternoon, the SP remained pretty much glued at 54p - certainly seems (from my uneducated view) that there are factors at play in that...

Topped up a little more as it dipped under 54 in the last 10 minutes - hopefully not a horrifically bad idea as every other deal I've made seems to be at the worst time :p

Tomorrow should be an interesting day as I'm assuming the new shares will hit the open market....

Slight O/T but just checked out some of your work - standouts for me are the Lego men and the Schumacher! When AML pans out I'd love some of your work for my man cave!

Are the placing shares available to trade now? Or are they still awaiting issue? (Or do you mean those that got in ~50p via non-placed shares)?

Trying to establish whether to buy now in the 50's or wait until the new issue shares are live (if not today, would be tomorrow now as they were due by 8am on the 30th?)

Nice work! I'm in the same boat - added more on Friday and again this morning - average down to 64p now. Wish I'd added a few more early doors today - but hey-ho. If the price gets back down to ~52 again I'll add a few more and hopefully get the average down a few more pence...

What's the maths to work that out? I'm in for 66pav at the mo and I'd like to get closer to 60, so would be good to see how much I'd have to put in at a given time to pull down the average...

WG - where did you see the 260mn? Can't see in the RNS or trading update. Great find if that's the figure they're after!

HL has been showing a big difference in Buy/Sell prices today (at least for me anyway). Not been keeping a really close eye, but I've not seen a sell price up at 8.7 so far today - on HL at least. Not to say it's not been above 8 (think it was 8.3 earlier maybe). As it stands right now HL showing 7.71/8.19 and I get a quoted sell price of ~ 7.94.

If you're looking at a google share price (for example) - it doesn't seem to reflect either price - I'm pretty new to all this, but looks like it's using the midpoint or something? So where there's a big differential, the price Google shows maybe a long way out from the actual price you'd get at Sell (or buy)

My 2ps (another lurker, and a modest holder) - give people a reaction and they'll continue - if that's what gives them their kicks. People rise to messages and "feed the trolls" - the number one rule of BB's (after don't talk about BB's) is "don't feed the trolls".

Whatever their motivation - deramping, "sport" , "teh lolz" just ignore them - as hard as that may be.

At the end of the day though, if it's not fun anymore then go elsewhere. If you're loosing sleep or whatever over some random dude on a BB - it's not worth it!

Agree with CarsCoffee on Carnival. It if pays off the rewards could be big though!

I'm in for the long game with DTG - in for ~ 4.20 average (only a modest holding compared to the big players here and elsewhere) and it's seen me well so far. Pulled average down from ~10GBP over the course of a month or so. 52wk high of just under £20, but there has been a placing so no expecting to see those sort of prices again - not even long term. Pretty volatile but sound company for sure.

I've considered EZY and IAG as other options - EZY is a similar massive fall so good potential to rise over the long term. Both airlines are due to start flying again soon and if airbridges are announced it'll give them a boost IMO.

As a petrolhead, the sounds of Astons ripping up the track at Le Mans will stick with me for a LONG time so this is an emotional investment as well as a financial one.

I'll certainly feel more comfortable once the SP gets a bit further north of my break even point - but it's heading in the right direction for sure! Certainly beats the <1% interest from any savings account !

After missing out on the lows (and kicking myself for it) I'm in for an average of around 71p. In the grand scheme for a relatively modest amount (~7k units). Not planning on increasing holding at the moment unless there are significant drops to pull down the average - hoping this doesn't happen though.

Planning on holding for a while and see where this goes. Not expecting this to be an easy ride as the price seems relatively volatile.

Have relatively modest holdings elsewhere with purchases closer to the bottom price - again in those for the long run.

First foray into stocks, so see where this all takes me - lots of learn and certainly interesting reading in this chat...
