Yes, but it wou;d be foolish for a PI to invest against the potential of a large seller. We already have one. Why accept the possibility of one more.

I'll throw two back:

a: reality of Co fundamentals is all that matters. you ignored all my comments about the reality of the situation.
b: who is the purchaser? what is their reason for purchasing? are current shareholders/PI buyers about to provide the new 45m buyer with a nice quick 20 to 40 percent upside?

1. there are no revenue deals.
2. why can't they be further from break even when spending on educate? where is your evidence?
3. the placing is at the very lowest price point possible. what news/facts do you have to support a good news upside other than speculation?
4. who were the purchasers of the new shares?
5. if such a good deal why didn't anyone from the Co join in on the share placing?
6. must/could/should/ are about as useful as wont/can't/unable

Agreed.
If there was good news we'd have seen it from October through to end of November.
Only a dumb BoD would allow the share price to rot while holding onto price sensitive news around contract wins, and then to place at rock bottom nominal value.

The only good news about the placing is that the Co can continue trading.
Difficult to know their current burn rate (given lack of clarity/poor statements/spending increase around Educate).

I found the following statement from the Placing RNS rather amusing:
"...net proceeds will provide further working capital to enable the Company to take advantage of the leading position it has created in the careers education sector ..."

When did we achieve a leading position?

Perhaps a trading update would be a fitting addition to the Placing RNS to encourage buyers and inform shareholders of the wonderful progress made to achieve a leading position. I'm all ears.

It always makes me smile when a Co releases RNS after RNS announcing their "huge potential" or "pipeline deal" or "contract partner" followed by multiple appearances on video and podcast spouting glitter and gold, and then the moment the Co moves to a revenue model the propoganda turns to silence followed by RNS after RNS of lacklustre revenue - the huge potential becomes a small slice of a small cake with expectations shattered.

DEV is that classic story but with one exception: they're useless at maximising on their positives and utterly brilliant at bringing focus and attention to their weaknesses.

Love it as much as you like, but amongst the majority sentiment and credibility around BIDS is totally and utterly shredded.
Only facts will turn this around as words are now considered worthless from Draper.
....and the possibility of facts worth considering being delivered on a balance sheet are a long, long time away, if ever.
Private Investors may be an easy target but they do have long and lasting memories.
