Agree @crafty hardly dilution when you get £800Mil in the pot @£5.96 which basically built all the infrastructure.. We would be in a sticky situation without that £800 Mil ‘Dilution’.. With most of us sub £1 averages this is just a patience game.. That’s me signing off for a bit as fly to Hanoi tomorrow. GLA LTH

When we had 10,000 staff that did seem crazy high I think since we had a cut of 2000 & more recently the 200 warehouse staff and now these cuts…

I think with SoftBank never wanted to sell their stake in THG but were a forced seller like Jupiter & Chrysalis. Things have changed since for SoftBank and as we know also a major shareholder in Autostore. They sold out at 39p taking a £450 mil loss but if you can get in sub £1 & you still believe in the future of THG which Son probably does and all the onboarded Autostore businesses from SoftBank interlinked it certainly is worth a single malt by the fire to dream…The relationship certainly still exists & Softbank has built most of our infrastructure with the £800 mil @£5.96… Is Son still looking for a return on that investment.. How does it play out he certainly got plaudits die getting back to winning ways with the $5Bil IPO of Arm in US & let’s not forget SoftBank has assets of $320Bil so the loss on THG was small fry.. SoftBank yes please..GLA LTH

Anyone got the Cresta Loan data as that gives a much clearer picture as includes all shorts under 0.50%. Yes correct @cong Qube & MW could well have been sitting 0.49%.. In fact we know for a fact Qube has popped up and down with 0.01% increases/decreases to be visible above 0.5% or disappear below & mistakenly many think they have closed there short but they are actually 0.49%. From memory the last Cresta loan data showed 6-7% short THG which was lower than the previous 3 months data. Someone on here has access to the Cresta I can’t remember who but it would be much appreciated if you could post on here. GLA

THG is trapped in the worst performing dinosaur market where no profits to be made on the upside cos all the funds are shorts UK PLC…All the ranting about Moulding & Lord Allen is laughable especially as Q4 was particularly good.. Until they decide to go long we are just passengers sat in economy with our knees crushed up against the seat in front!!

Of course you’re gonna have job cuts when you’ve automated your systems what would be the point be of doing it & spending all that CAPEX if it wasn’t to save money In the long run & redundancies are part of the process it’s a good long term move for the business. So much negativity on here all led by the actual SP.. When it went up on results day all was good with THG. Now SP back down last week absolutely nothing to do with THG & everyone is bashing THG it’s a painful read. I presume a lot of you are over leveraged and feel the pain of each SP move downwards. Well that’s not THG fault you put on a bad trade.. I’m extremely happy with THG results & progress & it’s overall handling of black swan event like Covid and it’s consequences creating some of the toughest macro conditions & prices the world has ever seen.. Many companies went bust during the last few years yet we are much stronger than at IPO.. The SP is not a reflection of THG look around the LSE you will see the same price destruction in many other companies. We are just passengers and as much as you shout about Moulding this SP will not being going up until the cycle changes and the big players decide SP can go up. While the US has already started the LSE still has the black cloud of Brexit & stigma of being so heavily manipulated that it’s not worth the risk exactly the reason the big pension funds do not invest in UK Equities. Why risk a 90% destruction of an investment when you can get a guaranteed fixed 5% elsewhere, they know the LSE is just a shorters dream with the lack of liquidity. Ok rant over please carry on bashing Moulding & THG.. GLA LTH

Yes agree I notice MW & Qube are back over 0.50 Freshold we get to see so that’s 1% known but from memory the last Cresta data showed another 6%+ short THG.. It’s a game where fundamentals mean nothing & LSE is easy money as so easy to manipulate as no liquidity. You can’t control the US markets like this as so much money in play…
