Not AML (car company), but AMR (F1 racing team).

[Still just for fun]
@Swanny27 – I love a lot about America and my first trip over was in 1980.
I’m even off to see the Jets vs. Falcons game in London this afternoon (while wearing a Giant’s shirt).
Not wishing to dispute your garage line up, but the first comparison I found on line says it close:
https://zeperfs.com/en/duel6680-7445.htm
However, we are in complete agreement that the Aston Martin is the cool car.
Whereas, the Dodge smacks of old men who wish they took a cheerleader to the prom as a teenager.
(When the cheerleader went with a football player who had a Mustang/GTO/Camaro/Corvette/etc.)

All jokes aside, good luck with your shares and your cars.
Cheers, Paul. :)
Almost pointless posting on here these days, given all the nonsense posted to get threads deleted.
Still, I did make what will be my last top on 06/10/21, 150 @ £16.51, as my AML pot is big enough now.
Not quite the bottom, but close enough to bring my 2021 down a bit (2020 avg. remains £10.88).
Have a good weekend, Paul. :)
PS
[Tongue firmly in cheek]
@Swanny27 wrote “DBS Superleggera… even though its relatively slow”
Relatively slow compared to what?
Even Jeremy Clarkson said "It's almost too fast".
[/Tongue firmly in cheek]
I’ve knocked on the door of 160mph on two wheels (on a track day) and that is FAST!
Vettel & Stroll Jr signed up for 2022.

OK, not much to do with the current AML company.
But clearly a lot of love (and money) pumped into this car.

Have a good weekend, cheers, Paul. :)
PS
Is £20 the new 50p?
@Vorlich001 - Thanks for taking the time to copy the article.
I got a warning as followed the original link that my free access limit was about to run out.
Which I guess is the problem that @carpymick had.
Anyway, nice to be back over £20 again.
Good luck all, cheers, Paul.
@Doyezee - I guess we are used to a rollercoaster share price on here.
I don't often get my top up timing right, as it has more to do with funds being free.
But my last top was at £17.06 just over three weeks ago, so happy with that.
Cheers, Paul. :)
PS
@Tinypie & @Vorlich001 – Thanks for the links.
OK, if 4,000 shares @ £19 is an insignificant £76k to some on here, fair enough.
But, does anyone one on here hold more than Michael de Picciotto’s 3 x Director buys in 2021?
Total = 130,715 shares @ £18.7 avg = £2.4m+
I know I don’t, but I also know that £18 is £4 a share more than my average holding.
Perhaps this director has £2.4m spare and is happy to sink it in an unprofitable company.
Or perhaps, as an insider, he has some faith in what AML are doing and expects to make a return.
As always, DYOR, what is good enough for me is clearly not good enough for others.
Cheers, Paul. :)
@TinyPie - Thanks for the link, there was a great range of Astons on display.
Perhaps it is the fact I rode motorcycles in the UK for almost 20 years...
But I keep thinking the Valhalla's exhaust pipes will fill with water if it rains.
Having said that, I am sure someone clever at AML must have thought of that too.
However, @TinyPie where was your 'Crimes against fashion' warning?
Has Stroll Sr every seen James Bond wear a dark suit with no socks?
No, just no.
{Wink}
Cheers, Paul. :)

“What I will also add is please remember that its only about 3 weeks ago that we had directors buying in. They know a lot more than we do. ”
Reply:
@carpymick – The second of those two Director’s buys was for over £0.5m!
16/06/21 – 5,009 shares @ £19.31
29/06/21 – 30,715 shares @ £18.71
Which makes me feel that my two small top ups this week are good value. (DYOR)
19/07/21 – 50 shares @ £17.68
20/07/21 – 50 shares @ £17.06
In reality, the director didn’t lose any money when the SP dropped below £17.
(Unless they sold, which seems very unlikely.)
Similarly, I didn’t actually make any money when the SP was £22, because I didn’t sell.
My overall average now sits around £14 and there is no rush to sell from my end.
GLA, cheers, Paul. :)
PS
@carpymick – Hope you can continue to stay healthy now that things are opening up again.
I went out for a curry with my wife last night and it actually seemed odd NOT to be wearing a mask.

“You know people are trying to obfuscate the truth when the only highlight they can muster is Seb talking to schoolchildren!”
Reply:
Obfuscate:
- make obscure, unclear, or unintelligible.
- bewilder (someone).
@c2645sg - Did you read my Charity Fundraiser posts?
In short:
- I am not personally obliged to muster any highlights for you, or anyone else.
- Similarly, I am not obliged to draw your attention to any AML negatives either.
- Therefore, you can’t possibly know why people, who you’ve never met, post, or don’t post.
- This is nothing more than an internet BB, it is not a court of law, or an interrogation unit.
On a thread entitled “Silverstone F1”, I made a comment about the TV coverage of Silverstone F1.
If you interpret that as being an attempt to make the ‘truth’ about AML unclear, then you are mistaken.
Or is it that you are simply bewildered that someone doesn’t post about the same things that you do?
Either way, as I have explained myself as clearly as I can, I’ll await your apology for a false accusation.
Thanks,
Paul. :)
@Doyezee - Glad you have a great day out. {Cool}
Helicopter 'taxis' from London were buzzing back and forth above my house.
Channel 4's coverage the day before had a nice piece on Seb talking to schoolchildren.
He comes across really well and I believe he will be a great AML brand ambassador.
Cheers, Paul. :)
