The point is, it's old news because the figures tell us next to nothing we don't already know.

Everyone knows about the other wells at Brockham and that the only real prospect there is the one Angus intends to switch on in the coming weeks.

As far as Lidsey goes the only thing the figures show is that there was a better flow than expected as of June this year.

We know all about Lidsey, and Brockham would struggle to flow even 1 bopd because it hasn't even been switched on yet.

From what people have mentioned on social media, the testing began on Saturday apparently and vehicles have been seen leaving the site today.

If that's true they will have the weekend to analyse the numbers, and I would expect an RNS first thing Monday morning or Tuesday at the latest IMO.

Most companies go notoriously quiet when things aren't going to plan.

If the well was a failure why would they try to keep the locals sweet?

If I was running things and the signs were that the project was going to be a washout, I wouldn't just ignore the complaints, but I'd go out of my way to deafen the fu**ers.

All joking aside, surely it means something when NEAR THE END of the well test, they have decided to minimize the noise below the levels agreed to try and present themselves as a model outfit. Everything is pointing to there being more action at the site once the test has finished IMO.

If you don't read between the lines, then you lose out every time in this game.

.........is that everything seems to be pointing to this being a success. Angus have been tweeting on and off during the test, which has to be a positive sign. They have made the effort of installing baffles around the site to minimise the noise so as not to aggravate the locals any more which would suggest to me they are doing everything in their power to make sure nothing gets in the way of them progressing this site further.

We don't know the figures yet, and I'm not convinced this will flow multiple bopd comparative to HH as some have suggested, but it looks to me from what I've seen so far that everything has gone according to plan at least and I suspect there may be good news on the horizon.

I have my fingers and toes crossed for everyone and I hope my current optimism is justified.

I agree to a large extent. That's why I rarely use a stop loss. I generally make my decision about whether to hold or sell the next morning based on the previous days closing price, which is a much truer gauge of overall market sentiment IMO, as opposed to jumping ship on intra-day manipulation. My reasoning is that even most crooks like to balance there books by closing time.

...........I've been here before and it's never nice. You start questioning everything and whether or not someone somewhere knows something us punters don't.

All you can go by are the facts. They said "hydrocarbons" were flowing to the surface in the last RNS. Whether that means oil or gas we don't know, but something of some value is flowing at least. That's one positive.

As far as the SP goes. It seems pretty apparent now that all these large sells are being done by more than just Bergen. If it was just Bergen after all this time we would have surely had a notification of there reduced position by now.

Given the way this stock has traded technically I would expect this to close every session above 8p before the results are announced. Any close below 8p I will take as a red flag and assume is the result of someone "in the know" trading on their knowledge. Either they have knowledge of the well test and/or knowledge of a placing on the horizon.

Personally, I jumped in at 8.95p last week, and will sell if this closes under 8p this week, otherwise I will hold for the results. One thing I have learned after my beginner period of getting rinsed on the AIM is that if the signs are there, then you should read them, whether you like what's written on them or not.

......Maybe it's Bergen, maybe it isn't. The truth of the matter is until it's confirmed we just don't know. I've sat in stocks like this for 12 months, and for every single day of those 12 months someone on this bb suggests that "they must be almost finished now".

Until we know better, Bergen could still be holding the best part of their shares, it's unlikely IMO, but we just don't know. For all we know the seller could be someone close to the company who knows something us mug punters don't. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and accept that companies like Bergen are a cancer on the AIM regardless.

I jumped in here last week at 8.95p and I'm going to hang around until the results. It's a coin toss ultimately, but the fact that someone, or several people are so eager to get out doesn't exactly fill me with confidence at this stage. I hope it is just Bergen cashing in, but if the brakes had been applied so aggressively on those high volume days purely because of Bergen, I feel we would have been notified of their decreased position by now. Given that fact, I'm led to believe their is more than heavy seller here. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

For all of the faults with the board of Angus, to be fair, Angus listed at 6p, and it's hardly ever traded below that. Most of the placings have been fairly well done IMO.

If there is another placing it wouldn't be below 6p IMO, so dilution here isn't as bad as many companies on the AIM which keep raising funds at an ever increasing discount.

Just look at most companies, especially junior oilers on the AIM and check out whether they are trading above their IPO price today and I think you'll find many of them have been diluted to the point of oblivion.

Angus lives hand to mouth like most companies on AIM and that should come as no surprise to anyone, but the fact it has weathered a few storms and still trades at this level is a positive I think. Of course if you're one of the markets sheep that got spiked day trading this stock and many like it, then you'll probably have a different outlook.

I do have an issue with what some members of this companies board have been involved in, but I don't think this company is in bad shape all the same. Just my opinion.

...........and after the strong close I decided to jump in here. It seems to be looking pretty solid now.

I'm just waiting for shorters and market abusers like BMD and Chris "Charles Hawtrey" Oil to start trying to bring the price down again.

I think a placing is certain at some point in the very near future given the companies financial position, but the price isn't certain yet. What news comes out in the near future and how the market reacts will probably decide the price.

for 12 months and it felt good. Logged onto this site after all that time and I see nothing has changed. Ramping, de-ramping and the same stocks that everyone said were about to go to the moon are still at the same price. Puts it all in perspective when you've been away, lol.

Feel like dipping my toe in the water again but I'm in no hurry just now. Will wait for some bargains to come along.

This stock has interested me the most since I started getting back up to speed with the market again a fortnight ago.

I'm going to hang fire though because I've been here before and I've no intention of getting burned on my return.

I have noticed that the greasy market-abusing Charles Hawtrey impersonator Chris Oil is involved here. He just posted something on Twitter, but as his writing is incomprehensible I'm not sure what he was saying, but it seems to me he is pretty keen on this a placing here, who knows, maybe he's short here. I'll never forget his scummy antics over on Sefton and New World Oil, both of which I have had an interest in over the years. Tread carefully guys, but good luck.

I agree. There hasn't been so much as a hint or reassurance about the future of this company, which gives you the impression that heads have been buried in the sand here, but I hope I'm wrong.
