morbox nice find. not to worried about navada and new jersey not approving merger. and a sports book split is not the end of the world but yes it does seem complicated at this point. a 50/50 split does seem most likely no one is just going to give up profits. but i guess it's about who has the most clout in the board room and i always think that would tilt towards an american company lets hope it's sorted in a fair non biased way.

i don't wish to ramp about a share to much or give false hope but i think break-even could come sooner than we think. when you see figures like $5.6 b bet on super bowl alone at a 16% market share and 6.5% winnings margin this is very possible the biggest hurdle for me is the markets seem very manipulated at the moment so holding on to gains is hard. but on the plus side i think there is only a very small amount of shorting on wmh .

this is good news it will deepen our brand in the states and could capture us a bigger slice of the pie which stands at 16% at the moment .

not been the easiest of stocks to hold but a divi does help and i do believe in the end you will be rewarded and £3 could be Conservative anyway lets hope it works out for us.

cheers guys. yes it did get a bump today as i say i have very little do with lse stocks to crooked but there is a lot of good noise coming out of the states about wmh. and as i said this has been beaten up but there not taking it lying down lets not forget they have survived lots of recessions and world war 2 . and these type of stocks is what i look for i have no crystal ball. but i 100% think that there is to much concentration on all the regulation in the uk and the stateside work they are doing is going under the raider lets not forget the USA business could make there uk market cap look tiny who knows. i don't know if you guys are long term holders but there is lots of multiples what could happen here first if this pans out i would like to see debt reduction. increased divi and maybe a spinoff i am not going to kid you there is risk american regulation ect. it's always a good sign when a message board is quite tells me the stock is unloved but i will love wmh if they start getting all there ducks in a row but it will take time.

mine is wmh 20% rise coming exit 26/2/2020 or just hold.

as i said we are in growth mode in states so divi will probably remain the same .would me nice if they paid down some debt but growth normally means more not less debt. but i do believe that there has been so much pressure on sp and downward revisions the slightest bit of good news in earning will drive sp up. to be honest and this is not advice but i am going to add 10% to my holding just before e/r as i just think that sentiment is so bad around bookies in the uk that there is a blindside to the stateside growth story my risk v reward is good. what i like is wmh has twice tried to break out recently and been beaten back down by more regulation but that will stop at some point they need the tax revenue no point in killing a money cow all together. for what it's worth tobacco never died from regulation . anyway lets see how this pans out .

yes the fact that you have to go in and sign up is a good thing for wmh they have this in place with eldorado and this is a hurdle newbies company's coming into the market. and if over time we could get to a market cap of $5b less exchange rate about £3.9 forget this sp it will take time first i would like them to pay down debt. wmh knows the UK market is not on there side at moment that's why we are in growth mode in the states and i don't believe this is fully priced in to wmh sp that's why i am happy to hold. there was $6.8b £5.3b bet on superbowl 2020 if we retain 16% of market at 6.5% winning margin well prospects look good.

i am probably going to pee some off but i agree with some of the regulation those roulette machines caused a lot of damage and they were given ample opportunity to self regulate they never took it. they should of stopped there clients loosing so much themselves and not let it get to this stage. cards on the table i am a recovering alcoholic 3 years clean but i have sat in meetings and held groups on addiction the speed that people lost lots of money was painful to listen to. some may asked why i am invested in a bookies well that's not were my gremlins are . but i don't invest in alcohol company's and i am not here to preach. ps UK based
