I've sat on the side for a long long time on this share and watched and read and read, the only reasons I have been holding back have all been answered with todays RNS, a great price to enter, and I will be holding holding and holding. Now secure in my ISSA at a bargain price of 97p.

yes, but never went up during share buy back, I am in at almost 70p! I'm sure I am not alone

the most weird stock one can ever imagine. When you expect it to rise it falls, when you expect it to fall it rises? really cannot work out what's going on here, all I do know is the dividend is stable.

**** my cover has been blown! How did you guess. One thing for it, Im off to drink some more red wine, as everyday is a redline day, and I can now switch to that great profit making company ECO instead, more value there, my glass of red tells me. LOL

so many negative posts? I am a Long term shareholder. The company were not going to really buy back shares, well guess what they have, the company makes money and is very well run, pays a dividend and has a great asset, why so many negative posts, just don't get it. So undervalued, but negative posts don't help!

you sold out in March, so hence the negative comments, I agree to an extent with what you are saying, especially as I have been invested for over 6 years, however it may not necessary be a false promise, it may not necessarily, not happen ( share buy back). Perhaps let's keep it positive for those that remain?

At last! A great RNS, some positive news and positive action, really great news for shareholders and a stunning RNS:

"We are of the view that the value of Gem Diamonds is not reflected in its current share price. We remain confident about the future and, coupled with our recently proposed US$3.8 million dividend (subject to approval at the AGM on 8 June 2022), we believe that this buyback represents an important mechanism by which to return further capital to shareholders."

The poster presentation is after the market has closed. I would expect the reception to that to be reflected in the price tomorrow and beyond. To get the American market on board would be significant, Both in terms of momentum and approval. Interesting to note that the initial reaction to AVA6000, as this is one of many in the pipeline. The fact that there are licensing deals already being lined up shows the potential. Fasten your seat belts...............

I hope that this price holds, so so many false dawns on this share and I am a long long term holder, they always seem to fall away in afternoon trade. A well run company, makes profit, has a great asset to continue to exploit, treated the workers correctly during covid, what's not to like? very unappreciated share, wake up investors, market makers, funds, posters etc, am I missing something?

the board answered to of my questions just now. There will be a share buy back, they find the valuation "staggering" and do not know whey the company is so undervalued, the words of founder and CEO Clifford Elphick.

Inflation may be good news for companies such as Gem, perhaps. Instead of savings being eroded by Inflation, could it be argued that Gems in addition to other options could provide a hedge against Inflation?

corporate governance dictated that they were obliged to put out that RNS. The share price is moving on lack of news flow thats for sure and no sales as the tenders have been cancelled, until this month. I am heavily invested here, on reflection I am not too concerned to be honest as there is little trading volume so the majority of shareholders are sitting tight. This will come good, GEMD have a great mining asset., that has proven again and again. Sit tight.

Why are members left to speculate here, with some intelligent insights and thoughts. Can we please hear from the company with some sort of update? Or dare I say, an explanation as to why the share price has dropped inexplicably over the past months.........
