I'm not a fan of IG Spread, I prefer Lurpak Spread, with a pinch of salt added. You can spread it left or right across your toast, so it offers both a positive and negative spread action for consumers. Lurpak also reduces the amount of CH4 effluent from piles of bullcaca, by using Bovaea additive in the cow pie .

I think that just about sums up today's narrative here!

Nigelg, you sometimes see a negative spread on your trading account during the opening, closing or intraday auctions. They usually only last for 5 minutes and are academic unless you have direct market access and can participate in an auction, but they do exist sometimes.

Two trades 19 seconds apart for an identical number of shares executed by a broker at the bid end of the market, reported as delayed, suggests a leveraged position rollover where the broker has shaved off £4k cash as his commission. If they had both been sells, the floor would have opened up, but instead the SP rose on the day

If someone rolls over a leveraged position, they expect to gain from it. But it does maintain equilibrium, as you say.

Someone dumped quarter of a million around four o' clock and it only appeared as a late reported trade. But it clearly depressed the price. I think there are still placee shares from 7p taking advantage of the buoyancy to dump large trades.

God forbid that ROI admit they were wrong and re-instate the RKH production licence rather than pay the compensation for removing it?

This looks like a Trojan Horse strategy to me. Ian Ramsay, a former Vice President of Murphy Oil and several of his team of managers and engineers relocate from Murphy in Houston and set up shop in London for Navitas to run a project team.

As Borgo (like him or not) has suggested, Murphy might be the long trailed third partner in Sea Lion, and what better way to get inside information than offer to Navitas a good and experienced project team to get it going. Once the EIS was complete and the Field Development Plan agreed by a trusted team, economics revised and FPSO identified, the farm in opportunity for Murphy will be seen with 20/20 vision. Murphy knows what’s occurring IMO.

Murphy was one of the interested parties back in the days of RKH looking for partners, that’s public information. The other interested parties, Anadarko, Dana, Premier, Noble and Cairn have all gone to the wall, one way or another.

This possible outcome is something that might easily leak in a large team of engineers, at the Shakespeare, not Sharkie's, which is where Borgo’s story comes from. Navitas have lit the fire with the public announcement of reserves and a programme to develop them, and the Murphy possibility has thrown petrol on it.
