Sounds like a Gold and Lithium specialist to me. More at home with the Central & Western African assets I'd have thought.

Vince is entitled to (and will most certainly have earned) something like 15M shares of he gets the share price up to £2 by Sept 2021. Unlike previous targets, which were Market Cap-based, diluting to fund further exploration/drilling won’t work. So his interest is now absolutely aligned with private investors. This I like. Also interesting today, I thought, was the company describing its journey from explorer to developer. I guess that’s how we should think of IronRidge now. Other snippets: Really happy to see Vince staying on. I had thought/worried that he might be easing himself out. Refera to planning drill program at Kineta. Geologist based in Australia but handling all commodities. So, is this connected with the Ewoyaa assays heading to Brisbane? Can anyone geologically-minded (All eyes turn to Toro) think of a reason for having a dedicated geologist at head office? Just to replace Len, who has moved up?

Yeah, i’m very happy that Len’s role has been officially upgraded. This options and performance rights: 40p - 90p within three years 30p - £2 (!!!!!) within three years Outlandish targets show huge bullishness and cost company £0. For all that i’ve Been critical of Vince this year, that really is very smart.

Chad could host a new gold province, says IronRidge
JUST as the formerly hard rock-ignored and shunned Sudan has been getting a good rap of late from Resolute Mining supremo John Welborn, neighbouring Chad also could offer big gold opportunities to the contrarians and brave at heart.

Speaking at the Africa Downunder conference, Len Kolff of AIM-listed IronRidge Resources said the company's ground had the hallmarks of an intrusive system analogous to the Tintina gold belt of Yukon-Alaska.

"We think we are onto a new province," Kolff said.

Enjoying first-mover status, IronRidge is principally focussed at the moment on the Dorothe prospect, a 3km by 1km area featuring previously mined shallow artisanal workings.

Trenching has already delivered strong results, with ground geophysics planned for October ahead of drilling.

Chad, like neighbouring Sudan, is probably best known in the resources sector for its oil, and in the broader world for famines and civil unrest/wars.

It's currently the second-large producer of Gold in Africa but aims to take top spot.

Chad's commercial gold production is currently £0. But obviously we expect that to grow within the next decade.

I highlighted this earlier in the year when the team attended SIMFE 2018. And Vince’s subsequent interview mentioning new opportunities in new jurisdictions. There’s a huge amount of gold in Sudan. In fact, it’s slated to be Africa’s biggest Gold producer by next year. Exciting!

I see potential in you yet, young Mike.

25 months here and counting. Plenty of moans but haven’t lose faith and, most importantly, haven’t sold a share yet.

Ghana & Chad look brilliant in the new presentation. Great to see that's where the focus is really being placed.

You’re exactly right, Weetsie. And it’s Assore/Sumitomo. Vince told us that it is and Rockson Coffie, contractor for IRR, told us that it is. Look forward to them officially announcing so. Tbf to Vince he said “hopes to be significantly re-rated”. I don’t think the delay helped. Why did the assays go to Canada & Brisbane rather than South Africa as originally planned? But mainly AIM is just composed of absolute mugs who’d rather buy shares in a £1M Mcap company because it’s cheap than in ta £65M company because it’s good.

Intriguing arrow on that diagram. Looks to me like they sense the pegmatite continues away from Ewoyaa. Time to land grab once again?
