The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Shares priced at 1.50 which is a mile away from the 9 initially mooted. The US patent hearing is scheduled for June 6th, and a ruling is expected then, apparently. MCB now looking to float in Q4 2018. GLA
Am looking to top up here but why would anyone invest with a spread of 36%? Looks like mms are actively dissuading investors to me.
Thought I'd timed my buy in pretty well last week, but WTFDIK!
Bought back in today having sold a couple of years ago and the current sp was just too low to miss! The project is reaching an interesting stage now and the jv partners re-commitment to the project is pivotal. GLA.
Hope our shares are worth something but I suspect it will be some time before they achieve value. I mailed MyClub last week and asked for a member of the management team to contact me re any update- No-one has got back to me, but if they do, I'll post any info here. The two big pieces of news we are waiting on is MyClub's listing on the Nasdaq exchange (we were told that was in line for this year) and news of the patent court case in the US (back in July. we were told news was imminent!) Neil Riches is confident that the court will find in Worldlink's favour and if any settlement is made (there are many companies involved) the plan is for WGP to re-list at which point our shares become trade-able again. Wazza is the guy who keeps a close eye on this one so I wonder if he has had any recent contact? My view on WGP is either we lose the court case and are sunk, or we do win and our investments should be worth a lot more than the 8p per share which was the sp on suspension.
I was advised on Friday that the liquidators have confirmed there will be no available capital to distribute to shareholders so my shares are officially worthless and will be removed from my account. A sorry end indeed, but as predicted. Good luck to all my fellow investors and let's hope 2018 is a rosier one for us all!
Not heard a thing since July, Theoldguy, which is pretty bad form even by Worldlink's standards. Back in July investors in MyClub were asked to cough up more cash ahead of the 'imminent' court ruling on the patent. I did not get suckered in, but I would imagine those that did will be disgusted at the lack of news from the company for the past 4 months. I still have Neil Riches mobile number so I will try to contact him next week to find out what on earth is going on. I'll report back if there is anything to tell posters here.
Thanks for sharing the update, Havegun- appreciated. Looks like we are months away from re-listing rather than weeks......
Agreed. I will do the same and hopefully, any positive news should provide uplift. Good luck.
So, we're running again... the bad news is our shares are almost worthless! My 100.000 at 3,200 now worth 40. Thanks a lot Chris.
Many thanks for your feedback- it's appreciated and let's hope we have some clarity early next month. I would certainly want to participate in a rights issue, but I am unable to commit to a figure at this stage. I thought the company was looking towards a price of around 4p, or has that now gone out of the window?
If one business rescue partner can't save the business, I guess two may give us a better chance....? Presumably, the newly appointed BRP has some clout within SA, hence the appointment. Looks like we are at the end of the road which is a great shame given the potential for Lace. Key question is how much Lace will be worth when/if we go into administration as it is likely to be snapped up for peanuts.
At least the biggest potential banana skin has been side-stepped and I believe that fund-raising should be achieved in both phases. The union will want firm commitments to the workforce and the early hold up in mining has shaken everyone's confidence. I will re-iterate my view that DCP will not re-list in the short term as it in everyone's interest that the company re-launches on a far more solid basis.
