Yes phil, I agree that any cash out is always a risk and in favour of the bookies. I only cashed out as I had lost confidence in my last selection to run as it was 20-1, so I cashed out and did it as a separate bet. I was quite surprised that it made virtually all to actually win. Finished up on the day so quite happy. GLA today

Is it not a fact that some horses need to drop in at the back of the field as they are known as strong/fast finishers. Seen it happen several times where a horse has come from last to first in a race. Of course it would depend on the race distance. My EW bet of the day 3.05 Ayr HILARY J

Can get 11-1 Ice Galley with PP, I haven't checked other bookies, however if a good run expected worth an EW bet with only 5 runners. It only has to beat 3 of them to make a profit. We shall see !

After watching the 1.15 Newcastle and then 2.45 TIGU TUAN at Ripon I am beginning to think that Harry's contact is not passing on the best info from the Ryan camp

Seen that before with Irish racing. Bookmakers put these horses as favourites for their races and they tend to drift before the off. Interesting though and I have included them in doubles with Hushood who has just won the 1.00 Chepstow.

Possible one to include with Harry's tips is HAPPY QUEEN in 3.20 Yarmouth. This is what the trainer says on ATR Stable Tours: "She should have won first time out but allegedly got stage fright. She had been very professional in her work and was backed accordingly and we thought she just had to turn up but she was a lot greener than we thought and half missed the break and I think that cost her. She has run two cracking race since and finished second at Windsor on Sunday where she came up against a hot pot of Henry Candy's but I would expect her to improve and she's still learning and there's no reason why she could go further forward. We will keep her at six furlongs for the moment."HAPPY QUEEN - the loss of the maiden tag looks a formality in the near future.

I enjoyed that one Harry. I thought the first at Carlisle was going to be there but faded rather badly. Never mind, lets hope for a nice Norwegian Filly later !!

I always look for the longest travellers when there is only a small prize at stake, but missed that one.
