RE: Still watching.....30 Oct 2024 10:36
Good morning PatShare. Yes, matters are a bit quiet. Sometimes making money is like that. The assets are there and they're worth than the share price. At some point I hope (I almost wrote expect!) to make a profit that makes the time and trouble worthwhile. I stick with my point, that I think I've already made, that DBAY are interested in making money for themselves. All I want to do is follow them and let them make me some money on the way. That's why I recently backed the board. That's not to say that if they had to return some capital to shareholders, because of the recent agitation, I'd mind. Far from it. On balance though I think I'd rather let them get on with growing the company. Others, perhaps with a shorter investment horizon, may take another view.
Regarding sh*t, very few posters, including myself, will never have bought a bag of it. It is part of learing about investment. I've been investing for a very long time now. Usually, the longer you are an invester the smarter you get and the less sh*t you buy. It's fundamentally all about making more than you lose. Time for my morning coffee. Fingers crossed for a bit of action here. ALgent.
