The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
In Blackstout's recent 7 section post, amongst the facts and figures he said two other interesting things:
'Having been involved in most of the discussions and briefings COPL has held, this is now how I see value being returned to COPL's shareholders over the next 12 months.'
'I can tell you that further work has been done by both parties to the JV and the estimated boip has increased.'
I don't think he works for COPL but maybe he had another reason to be at the meetings, maybe he is associated with the JVP or Ryder Scott. In any case he writes as if much of it is fact, not conjecture.
I believe that he is genuine, and having added another 300k today to get my average down to 5.94, I can't wait for Blackstout's posts to become reality!
'
'There are those on here who hate the thought of a JV as the buying will start.'
Whilst the rest of us can't wait for that to happen. Another top up today brings my average to 6.62p, so Blackstout's figures would be very welcome!
The spread in Canada is about 14% so if the previous close is on a buy and today's on a sell it shows a drop of 14% even though there is no change, and if tomorrow's last trade is on a buy and there is no price change, it will show 16% up.
I am not an oil man but I am assuming that we put more and more gas in and suddenly the body of oil will break free and flow? Just like pushing a car on flat road until you reach a downward slope when the speed picks up very quickly?
Panamabob: 'A big positive for me was the road construction and improvements. They are obviously anticipating heavy traffic in the future. '
Not what you would do if you expected to be bought out imminently, good news!
