In the recent past, since gaining the support of a crucial group of investors, Provexis has trebled in value. That rewards them, and others who showed support rather than disposing. If anyone, from Percy the Perpetual Whiner or anyone else, thinks that this could have been achieved with no executives, they have lost control of their last couple of brain cells.

According to the profs, Covid will be an an ongoing factor, with variants continuing. The vaccines won't eliminate it. So the sticky blood effect should be well worth continued studies if they can be afforded. Something that would fund further projects would be the most welcome factor, i.e. product launches by By Health

Quite. That's the human trials that are necessary as a first stage. Double blind tests after. To conduct such tests on recovering Covid patients would no doubt require getting in a queue of other pharma offerings. Not impossible, but not something that could be done in a flash either. The company would be in all sorts of legal tangles if claims were made on the back of early theory.
We all believe that the positive effect on bloodflow afforded by Fruitflow would be beneficial to Covid sufferers, but belief and clinical proof are very different IMHO

We simply can't make such a claim unless a huge amount of clinical trials are conducted. Scientific papers are not commercial proof.

A big drawback of marketing is the cost. For years the message has been about not overstretching budgets. DSM did the marketing of the ingredient, and did give a high profile to Fruitflow. That they haven't managed to land a real biggie of a brand is a puzzler. However, for the first time finances are robust, and the agreement with DSM doesn't have long to go. Whether those two facts should be considered together I have no idea.
DD77, if you think that suggesting that there is a ten year wait for progress is funny, or good for anyone's investments, then I doubt you'll do much good with yours. To repeat, the sp has increased very healthily since this group of investors provided key support. I'm grateful for them.

Anyone could buy them. Some even sold at that level. Anyone could sell them.
It's a market, nobody should talk about being trapped. The perpetual moaner chose to buy when he did, chose to sell the majority of his holding when he did, accepted that this would leave his remaining holding at an average that was never going to be achievable, chose to retain the last dregs solely to justify his hanging around to blame everyone else.
To me, that's perverse.
I very much doubt that another ten years will elapse before a corporate action brings a definitive conclusion to the Provexis story. Up to anyone to decide what that action may be, and take the action they deem correct.

Yep, well I have to say that my opinion has changed somewhat regarding director rewards.
Whilst it can't be denied that they have driven revenues, and potential future profits, strongly upwards, the cashing in of huge sums has undoubtedly held back rewards for patient investors. At my level of holding it's something I just have to accept, but can't defend.

Well done all at SIS, that's really good performance in a very difficult time.

Think that's a skewed way of looking at it. Just because a company has more stock has no bearing on what sales are created. Launching in to a new market has varied extra cost, getting an established repeat buyer base would take a lot of promotion.. Costs come before rewards, often by quite a long way. Adding subscribers is key, and having some sort of advertising push will be required. The big problem these days is the plethora of routes to market, all of them costly but not guaranteed to work. Of course, in the case of USA there is an already established relationship with the Make Bezos Richer company, but there could be regulatory reasons to overcome before direct selling could be initiated.

I feel certain that the big extra capital raising is with a plan in mind.
