In my experience of getting things made, it often becomes much easier as production volumes and frequency increase. Clearly, the production last time was the first that Provexis was fully responsible for, DSM had not reordered for a considerable time, staffing had changed at the producer. Also, did the producer doubt ability to pay, were they negotiating a risk management intermediary? Compare that to the proposed future. Much bigger volumes, more frequent production, expanded turnover and profitability for all involved. Again, from experience, that does tend to concentrate minds.

It may be possible to play the cashflow in a positive way, where the payment terms to the manufacturer are longer than the payment terms for incoming cash. That does happen in many industries, and would be one explanation for the lack of cash calls. The next period may give further clarity, in the meantime the standard wording remains that a further fund raising could ne necessary. If we can lose that clause, and become cash positive, happy days.
