The day when I can free myself from the business world, and please myself what I do with my time, will be a sweet day indeed. As Dawn Trader appears to know DM well, I am hoping for some feedback from him. AGM's do tend to be dry old affairs in general, but the chance to put faces to names would appeal to me. One day.....

Not able to attend the AGM, though I would have liked to meet these folks. I have a fair few of these and am more than happy with my holding, my only request to them is to make more shout in the market about achievements of the various agencies. Clearly there is such a broad spread of work with so many top names to keep the newsflow pretty constant. Instead we have to wait for the all too rare updates. C'mon chaps, the business is based around accentuating the positive, lets see that drum banged please.

Afternoon MrH. I can only assume some nonsense got removed from here, the thread looks that way. Looking a bit settled here, that persistent buyer not much in evidence. Having said that, every single director buying together says a lot about prospects here IMVHO

The actual term used was that its a "no brainer" I suppose that could be interpreted in two ways. Sympathies to TEGers, but I did point finance out as the glaring weakness last year. Not that my opinion is given much credence.

No worries. I feel that in their industry there is a strong "grow or be swallowed" culture. I am sure that David would rather stay in control and grow the business as a way of fighting off any t/o bid.

That's excellent as a target, and, given the rate of recent progress, highly achievable IMHO. Is this manifesto published online? I'd like to read it, do you have a link?

Given the recent profit performance, reduction of debts, and director buys, do you think a rerate is on the cards here?

Very good to get someone so knowledgeable about the company on board. My own knowledge is more recent, I was fortunate enough to be able to buy most of my holding during the stupid drop that occurred last year. Since then the performance of the company has shone through, and I feel this has only just begun to be reflected in the sp, my own target sp is way north of here. When the top man said as much too it gave me a very satisfied grin. The company has so many high profile clients that it seemed a no brainer for me to invest here.

A £1.5 million contract win is valuable for anyone of course, but the chance to be involved in Aviva's ambitious growth plan has far more long term value. TMMG hasnt been getting the recognition it should have, seeing that in print from the chairman, backed up by buys from every director, is as strong a sign as I have seen that we are backing a winner here.

That is a BIG win for Bray Leino !! TMMG goes from strength to strength. The chairman has demanded a substantial appreciation of the share price, and not without reason, contracats like these take them in to a different level. ATVB

Agree, but I am currently speculating in my own mind whether there is more to this mass director buying. As their current performance is very buoyant and the mcap is still very low, a takeover could well be a factor By increasing their own stakes, the directors may be signalling their intention to fight such a bid. This sector has always been attractive to M&A activity IMHO

Director buys is pushing this on. On 1st May EVERY director bought, and since then Robert Day has bought more twice, and Dylan Bogg and Bruce Hotton also added. Highly confidence inspiring IMHO

More director buys is a great signal IMHO. They are commiting themselves to driving this forwards. Could it be possible that their aim is to retain control of the company? We have seen Polar increase their stake recently, and the buys have been steady. Could start to get intersting if someone else is looking to acquire a stake. Very happy with progress lately, has proved to be a very good one to hold. Long way to go still I reckon. ATB

Have to agree with you, however this is a really good rise now, the last three months has been building and building. Mcap should certainly be higher judged on performance and growth shown through difficult times, these guys know their job alright.

Thats more like it !! Looks like the market is beginning to get the message from todays RNS. Needless to say, it is a great feeling, having followed this and invested substantially when the sp was stupidly low. I just had a word with the company to congratulate them on such a strong performance, and on the great message that the directors have sent out to the market today. I also mentioned that I have found it surprising that a company with huge skills in marketing and PR had hardly done any for itself. The point was taken, even though it was stating the bleetin obvious.

Significantly undervalued. Not my words of course, wouldnt dare. The Chairman and the whole board have laid their cards on the table, this sp has languished for far too long now, time to get it on the map. Actually, for one of the country's top marketing outfits, they have done little to promote themselves. Time to change that IMHO Come on dithyrambic Dave, blow your own trumpet !!
